I will never recommend this nail salon. I will tell people not to go to this salon. I called Wednesday to make a appt for me and my daughter to see Kelly. I had been recommended to go see her by 4 of my customers , so figuring if 4 people have said to go see her I should make a appt ahead of time. Me and my daughter get to the appt 10 mins early I am a extremely understanding people when it comes to customer service and running late. So I wasn’t upset at the fact that even my daughter noticed and was wondering why it took 45 mins after our appt to start on us. But they did and everything seemed ok. Well I had maid my appt with Kelly and I had told them that three times and for some reason kelly wasn’t doing my daughters nails (but no biggy as long as she does mine it will be fine) so her and her husband and two other ladies keep coming over looking at my nails asking to see what design I want and her husband asked me how do you know kelly so I told him. And he have the nerve to tell me that our mutual customers that recommend me to see HIS WIFE lied to me she nor none of them can do designs so by this time it’s been over 1 45 mins and I am telling him ok well whatever y’all can do is fine I just want some Easter. Well I wait even more and finally after my daughter is complaining of being hungry because we have been there 2 plus hours. While kelly is doing other customer that literally walked in after us like 3 of them and guess what SHE NEVER DID OURS. She just blew us off. Some other little girl came and did it and I would be embarrassed if I was the nail salon for allowing this to walk out there door. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR WALK INTO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! So my overall experience was pretty good. Kelly did my fingers and another girl did my toes. I came in to get my acrylics filled and to get a pedicure. They started working on my nails and when it was time to fill them, they started doing the dip on my nails. I freaked out because I was confused and it wasn't what I had asked for. They said they didn't do the acrylic there because of the chemicals. I'll admit, my nails looked damn good but it wasn't what I went in for. At this point I was in a sour mood because I wasn't expecting that. I told them I like my nails to be on the thin side because I like them to look natural. They were so thick that you could tell they were fake. I ended up removing my acrylics and getting the dip at another location when it was time for my fill. I took two friends with me, Kelly did my friends gel and they looked horrible, you could tell it needed at least two more coats. The gentleman did my other friends gel and I felt so bad, it was her first timing getting her nails done and he rushed the whole process. They looked like they were starting to peel before we had even left. They sat and waited for me because I was getting both services. We went up to pay and he told her, "Oh. You're still here? I had completely forgotten about you!" Even that made me feel upset and it wasn't directed towards me. The salon itself is on the small side and didn't feel like a very relaxing atmosphere. I have been a loyal customer for years. Went in to have a pedicure with my son and his girlfriend was going to dp a full set. We had appts, I arrived first and said that the other two were on their way. Three ladies walked in after I did and all wanted powder dip and they have never been to Bonjour. My son and I had pedicures and his girlfriend was told it would be an half an hour. Here it is one hour later, we are done and she is still waiting. The manager never came ov...er and updated her on anything. The manager should have told the three ladies that walked in that they would have to wait as there was someone with an appt before them. We ended up leaving and nothing was said to her. This is not the first time this has happened and especially when you have an appt and still have to wait. Will be taking our business elsewhere. I just left bonjour Nails, this was my 6th visit. I have usually been happy with my visit, the pedicures have been great, and my nails have been done awesome or meh depending on who did them. I was here last 3 weeks ago for an acrylic fill, since then 4 Nails have lifted off completely. So I went in today to get a fill/ add more nails. After taking off my polish and 20 minutes of filing, the technician and I decided they were too far gone so we took them all off to start fresh. We decided to do tips with the dipped powder. It took 2.5 HOURS!!! And they look terrible. My fingers are stained pink, some nails are smudged and uneven!! The whole thing cost $50 + a $10 tip = $60 for bad Nails! Time to find a new place! They base they're cliental on there regulars and more important people. I have been a loyal customer for quite some time at this nail place and keep in mind I don't live in the area. My last experience was beyond horrid- My service wasn't anything special this time around and I didn't get a shoulder massage like I normally do with the manicure service. When I went to pay for my service, I added a tip and after I've made my transaction, the manicurist started questioning my tip amount. Completely unacceptable. If I don't receive top notch service,... I will not tip you generously. She then told me to slide my card again, but before I could respond- she took my care and inserted it herself! She then told me to hit the green accept button. I took a look and she tried charging me $8 for the tip amount. I was beyond shocked. I did not enter that amount nor did I authorize it. She then told me she doesn't know why it says that amount and that I entered it myself. Crazy! She then ran off and some guy stepped in and told me he would refund my money. I LOVE this nail salon! Hands down the best! They are extremely clean! They use a new set of sterilized nail clippers on everyone! They also use organic products so it doesn't smell like harsh chemicals in their salon. Kelly and Danny are so nice along with the rest of their staff!!! My nails have never looked better! This place has gone down hill so much. It used to be my favorite nail salon but now every time I go in there, the massage chair never works, the nail tech just hurries through the pedicure and I just get a mediocre pedi. The water for my feet is always cold and therefor I am cold the whole time I am getting a pedi. Not relaxing at all. Lex your place has gone WAY downhill in my opinion! Not worth the $ I spend. Best place I've found, they use an organic dipping powder with no harsh smell, it doesn't sting and my nails weren't sore after getting a full set. This place is one of the cutest and cleanest nails salons I've been to! It doesn't smell of nail polish and other fumes and the place is decorated so nicely. We were welcomed at the door and unlike every other place I've been to we weren't rushed to get seated or pick colors. Everyone was patient and so kind! We were even offered something to sip on (coffee, tea, and water!) Tracy did my nails and Henry did my friend's- those two were so fun to chat with- it almost felt like ...we had been friends for a while as opposed to meeting for the first time! I use to love this place but have had multiple bad experiences with my nails and recently got a massage and would not recommend it! It is so unsanitary. They have you lay on a rock hard table with paper covering 2/3 of the table. The paper soaks up the oils and would make no difference if it was on it or not. Not only that but as I was getting a massage an employee walked in!
