I had contemplated back and forth for a couple months on whether I wanted to try someone new for my color and styling. I had come across the yelp reviews and pictures so I finally decided to make an appt. Trinh was in time and ready to start. She knew what I wanted and started right away. I have to say I LOVE MY HAIR ! The style and color came out great ! Although the color isn't exactly what I wanted she told me several times as she was doing my color that it may not turn out the way I want. I let her know that was fine. I've gone to Trinh for two-three years! She's dyed my hair auburn, and silver with purple streaks. She always does a fantastic job, and gives you the best look and what you want. The salon is clean and gorgeous, too! Read Less

This is the best salon experience I have had. I have had eyes rolled at me, been ignored, and received hair cuts that even my husband could see were bad. Not only is Trinh friendly, sweet , and kind, but she is ahmazing.  Ahmazing. I kinda don't want to leave this review bc I want her to be my secret. She really understands hair color so incredibly well. I don't know how she did what she did but I halfway showed her some pics I had ready and muttered a few things and she knew what was perfect and nailed it. She's a kind reader!  Also I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted which makes it even more amazing how good it turned out.   It doesn't offer much in the way of other services. Mostly just eye lashes, there's not a lot of merch cluttering the place and no crazy pressure to buy products.  But there are plenty of salons doing that around BR. OMG!! Hands down, Trinh is the best!! Where have you been all my time here in Baton Rouge! No one and I mean no one has understood my hair as much as she has. I have ethnic hair; it's not fine, nor is it super think and it's a bit more coarse. With very little direction, just me kinda quickly blabbing about what I needed done with my hair, she executed my vision way above my expectations! I mentioned: layers around the face, thin out lower half, fullness at the top and need something easy to style. And she nailed it!! Usually after my first hair wash & blow dry (post-salon), I am able to tell if it was properly done. My hair is now easy to blowdry, easy to style (with curling iron) and isn't heavy at all. I am way beyond thrilled and will be going to Trinh from here on out. If you are dealing with "ethnic" hair, too, you need to go to her. Don't have ethnic hair? Yes, still go to her because she is thorough and does it all so effortlessly. I don't ever get color jobs done on my hair anymore, but it sure looks like that is one of her specialties. If you are searching for someone to transform your locks, Trinh is The Expert and an amazing Genius colorist.  You will not be disappointed.  My daughter has red undertones and a difficult color to lift so when she asked for the popular balayage highlights, I was extremely hesitant. After researching stylist after stylist she found Trinh's Yelp page and scheduled an appointment. She had a photo of the look she wanted and Trinh matched it perfectly.
