Did not get what I asked for. My natural nails are long and thick and were immediately cut off when I sat down despite telling the girl at the front that I wanted gel, not acrylics. I tried to stop the man cutting them but he did not speak much English and did not understand. The girl at the front ignored our exchange until he got up to talk to her because we were not making progress. He apologized to me but continued to give me acrylics. He did an excellent job, just not what I wanted. I explained this to the girl as I was leaving, she was rude and blamed him, saying he was new and didn't know what he was doing. It seemed to me that he was quite experienced, so I'm not sure what the confusing was but I'm very unhappy that I will now have to remove acrylics from my nails. Read Less

I've been in a couple of times, but don't think I can go back. Unless they can prop the door open, in nice weather, the place is so full of fumes that it's like being in a gas chamber. My mother and I actually had to leave last time because we felt like we were going to pass out. The heat was BLASTING as well, so prepare yourself to undress to your skivvies or sit in a sauna. They did not greet us when we entered, nor did they ask us why we were leaving. The waiting area is abysmal... There is very little seating to begin with, and it's old and tattered. I'd give this place one star, but the owner brings her cute little dog in and lets you hold and pet it. That's a plus for me, because I'm an animal person, but I can see it being a turn off for some. I hesitate to write this lest my upcoming regular Friday after work appointments will be taken, but I've finally found a nail place I love! Walked right in for a full set and pedi on a Friday early evening. There were other people but was told to "pick a color" and my pedicure was started first. The basic pedi includes a scrub, hot towels, and ahhh-mazing leg massage. I truly didn't want to get up to get my fingers done as I was 1/2 asleep. The gentleman who did my full set spoke very little English but I got short, even, rounded nails and he used my fast drying top coat with no issues. They have a tiny chi who takes turns running around and sleeping on the couch which provided more entertainment than the evening news. He was wearing a shirt with "security" on it and making everyone in the place smile. Very happy to have wandered in. I will say there were fewer color choices than many salons in town, but after looking at 5 similar shades of red, I had decision fatigue and went with my first pick. Pricing was good--$25 each for full set and pedi. I'll be back! Read Less
