I’ve never been anything but satisfied at Vogue. The atmosphere in the salon is the PERFECT balance between professional and laid back. None of the stylists are snooty and everyone always seems to be in a good mood. I have been going to Hannah since 2013 and love everything about the salon. During my last appointment, Hannah had just taken ownership and was in the middle of renovation. Came in from out of town for a friend's birthday and wanted to treat her to her first spa experience - unfortunately it wasn't all that great. I got a leg wax and Mani/pedicure all done by Paula - had some areas missed on the leg wax even after pointing them out to her I still found hairs missed in those same areas after I got home. The pedicure wasn't too bad but even a couple days after the manicure was still finding missed cuticles. I know my friend had since voiced concerns about missed patches in her Brazilian and seems to be finding more missed patches as the days go by. Not sure if it being the lady's last day had anything to do with it but while she was nice to talk with her work left a lot to be desired. I myself have been getting Brazilians at home by a woman who is actually from Brazil so maybe I'm spoiled and while she tells me what is included in a Brazilian as far as what areas are waxed is up to the individual salon I'm pretty sure it doesn't entail leaving missed patches everywhere. If this salon is considering continuing to do waxing they may want to either change how it's done( wax strips) or hire someone a little more skilled.Would also like to point out that we cancelled appointments at another salon in Lexington to come here because it was closer - kind of wish we had stayed with that one Read Less

The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because the stylists and hair dressers up front were very friendly. We came there to get waxing, pedicures and manicures by Paula. She seemed really sweet and told us it was her last day. However...she missed several hair patches doing a leg wax, even after they were pointed out to her..then completely botched the brazilian wax which is our ultimate complaint. She barely got the front, didnt bother even getting the back, and left more patches on the sides than we originally thought. Didnt have time to inspect it at the time. Later during pedicures, she invited herself to our birthday lunch! Which WE paid for out of kindness. (We weren't really comfortable upsetting the person who was working on us by denying her request) The pedicures were ok, but the manicures were also a disaster. Regular manicure was missing hanging cuticles, nails look terrible. Acrylics were uneven and had gaps an hour later and bloody spots where she clipped the cuticles too short on 6 fingers. I'm not sure if she always did such a bad job or if she was just in a hurry because it was her last day, I haven't seen any reviews on her work, only the sweet hairdresses and stylists. Had only one hair cut before going back for a second one...took a picture (of myself) with the hair cut/style that I had year ago...the stylist was sure she could do it...not at all... If a hair stylist washes your hair and DOES NOT clip your hair in sections to cut it you know right there and then it’s going to be a disaster... Anyway spent $40 and change to have the most disastrous hair cut ever! Thank God hair grows again... It would be nice if she had said: “Sorry but I don’t think I can do it just like you expect” and I would have left! Well I left to never go back ever... Read Less

Every time I go there, I get the exact cut and color I want. Penny has a great eye for the right cuts and colors to match the individual's look!!! I seriously cannot thank Meghan at Vogue enough for the work she did on my hair tonight! Color never stays in my hair because it's so dark, so when I showed her a picture from Pinterest I was skeptical at best but she didn't even flinch. All of the stylists I've seen at Vogue seem very nice and produce beautiful hair. I go to Amanda Gayheart, and she is absolutely amazing! Her hair coloring and cutting skills are the best in the area, and her prices are very reasonable. She has taken me from dark to light, and my hair, which hasn't always been the healthiest, feels and looks amazing. The way she cuts my hair is great too; the cut is flattering and my hair lays very nicely. She is a perfectionist, and always makes sure my hair comes out just right. I came to Amanda (Gayhart) with extensions that had been cut to the length of my natural hair and brassy highlights in hopes of achieving longer extensions and some non-brassy, caramel highlights for my dark hair, and I am so happy I did. Amanda fit me into her schedule to install my new, longer extensions and correct my highlights just in time for my husband's company's Christmas party (a big deal to us both). Her technique is both modern and precise; I love the placement and color of my new highlights, and she installed my extensions where they don't snag my real hair, nor do they show. This is a wonderful place to get your hair done. My hair stylist was Megan, I had never had any kind of color treatment, and wasn't really sure what to expect. I brought in a few photos of the balayage I was thinking of getting, and after a brief conversation with the stylist, she started getting the dyes ready. I was kind of worried about how it would actually turn out (just a first time thing), but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the hair was exactly what I had asked for. All the stylists were friendly and talkative with their clients, and I was pretty thrilled with my service. I had called the night before to make my appointment, but every stylist had a client the entire time I was there, so I think it would probably be best to call a few days ahead to ensure you get the time you want.
