Taylor did my hair a couple weeks ago and I am still obsessed! It seems to be a trend for me to absolutely love my hair and the product I purchase for a couple days but I always seem to find the same problems after just a short time. Not this time! I went for a spray tan that costs $45. I entered a tiny bathroom stepping over equipment where I got a spray tan which left my wrists orange and hardly noticeable anywhere else. So I paid $45 plus tip for orange wrists. Very disappointing. I've had a spray tan at a salon a block away that cost $30 where I was in a tanning room, got 2 coats of tan along with a moisturizer and powdered afterwards. I will not be going back. Ever. Everyone at Wild Strawberry was very nice and professional. With that said, do not go there for a hombre. My girlfriend went there for a hombre and had to go back and get it "fixed". They were very nice, as I said, but even when the owner attempted to "fix" the hombre it did not turn out well, just a different shade with a defined line still. No refund was given and I'm not even giving them another shot. I have made an appointment with another salon for my girlfriend. I have only frequented this salon for one service...a brazilian wax!  I originally bought a groupon last year and tried it out for the first time.  Holly, the girl that does all the waxing is so friendly and professional.  I decided to go back a second time recently for another one.  I found out that she also does hair, so I am already planning to return for some hair services as well.  This salon smells good when you walk in.  The staff are all friendly and seem to be interested in their customers.  The products are of high quality and they have most of them for sale.  I did not have to wait much at all for either of the appts I have made and was in and out in a very reasonable amount of time.  If you are in the market for a brazilian, look no further!  Call and make an appt with Holly. This is an amazing salon with a concept that is so original, classic and above all, the service and technicians whom work there are top of the line in what they do. Be careful with this place. I was a first time customer...had trouble finding parking, so  I was 7 minutes late. They said they would not honor my appointment because I was late. Disclaimer: I do not get my hair done here! I go for waxing purposes.I found a groupon for a Brazilian wax at wild strawberry and figured why not? I called and made an appointment-they were friendly over the phone and accommodating to my scheduling needs due to work.Hollie, who is the wax specialist, is very friendly and puts you at ease. The salon is somewhat small but you don't need a large place to cut, color, perm, wax and whatever else the salon offers. Hollie does tend to run a few minutes behind on each appointment, I think both times I have gone she is running behind about 10-15 minutes. There is parking behind the salon BUT when you drive a truck or large suv you will probably not fit, street parking is easy. I went to Wild Strawberry Salon for a waxing service - first Bikini was ever and I was very scared. The waxing technician, Hollie, was wonderful, very sweet and helpful. She talked me through the entire process, and I was very pleased with the results. Hollie was not pushy, and I didn't feel like she was rushing me out to get to the next appt. Amanda Witt is amazing! Yes ladies and gents, this calm and collected Yelper has at one time lost her composer and colored and cut their own hair! Needless to say that it turned out to be a travesty! Amanda came highly recommended to me when I first moved to Louisville, so now I am passing this on to you..This shop is very chic and urban, despite not being located downtown. Your average cut and color for Medium length hair, since that is what I have, will be around $100. I am absolutely in love with this salon. It is such a great atmosphere. I always feel so comfortable, and at home when I come for my appointments. I have been going to Amanda for my color and cuts, and she is amazing. She has such an eye for color, and is a miracle worker. I have unruly curls, and she not only gave me the best cut I have ever had, but also showed me how to style it. I have never had someone really take the time to show me how to get the best look out of my hair the way that she did. I will be her client for life!!! I tried this place out for the first time after it was recommended from a friend. I didn't see anything special about this place or the service I received. Sorry, but I am telling the truth. I booked my appt & after having my hair cut by the owner she told me there was no time to style it. This is after a $55 hair cut. REALLY!!! I was shocked. My hair is not long or thick.
