Somehow I been asked to leave by (wawa) because one( male) client didn't like the way I looked to him/her .lol.that time I was sitting on the last massage chair from the left looking to my gf she was sitting to my left and I was looking for her while she done nail .I also noticed mistakes by analyzing flaws, problems and making the right decisions. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was cut not ONCE, not TWICE, not THREE times but FOUR times. After the fact, the owner thought it was okay to just give me a 5$ discount after my fingers are bleeding and burning. The place is a disorganized mess, three different people were working on my nails. Not to mention my nails look mediocre and I could've done a better job by myself at home. I had a great experience at La Perla! The salon is quite spacious and offers a variety of services. I got a pedicure and my friend got dip nails (a huge new nails fad). The owner was so sweet! She was so fun to talk to and made the experience so enjoyable. I got my pedicure a week ago and haven't had any chips yet (part of the reason I was waiting to review). They have a huge color selection and definitely don't rush you through their services. I will definitely be back! Read Less

Honestly such a great experience. I went in today after being turned down at a neighboring salon for a service they claimed could not be done anywhere. These ladies immediately welcomed me and got to work. Even two at a time for a while to accomplish my powder dip “fill”. I appreciate the time and kindness I was offered. I've been in search of a new nail place and tried La Perla based on reviews and proximity to my house. I went around 3 pm on a weekday and they weren't busy at all. I wanted a dip powder manicure. The staff was friendly and I was seated right away. The technician shaped my nail but I had to ask for her to push back and trim the cuticle. This is customary in every other manicure I've received so I'm not sure why I had to ask. Even then she didn't trim the cuticle all the way around so it still look a little unkept. The technician was quick. I was in and out under an hour. The dip powder was put on a little thick and I'm not a fan of that. It makes it hard to use your nails in practical ways such as scratching or picking up small things. They're a bit cumbersome when they're too thick. The prices were reasonable - a little cheaper than other places in town. The space was nice - pretty decorations and comfortable chairs. All in all this place is fine. It's just probably not the place for me. But my manicure stayed nice for three weeks. And they told me if anything happened to it within two weeks of getting it done then they would fix it for free - which is great customer service. Read Less

So I had my first pedicure and this is the place I chose after reading all the Yelp reviews of various nail salons and I am so so glad I chose this place. I booked an appointment for a regular pedicure for me and a friend a week in advance. Found the place easily but the parking was very tight to get to die to the alley so just come in the back alley and no worries. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and they already had the spa chairs filling up with warm water. My friend was a little late but they were so kind to just wait for her before we started. I picked out my color a beautiful mauve nude and the process began. Got an amazing massage in the chair and the place was spotless! The technicians were very sweet and made sure were comfortable before each step. My toes look healthy and maintained for first time and also she was able to paint my tiny pinky toe that I have never been able to paint. Its my birthday week. And I'm leaving with nails looking like this. And the fact that someone let me leave like this, was all the more reason I was ready to go and not look back. Never again. Uneven. Asked for coffin/ballerina shape, yet half of them are square with rounded edges. Horrible and uneven shape. Terrible and too thick polish job. They are STILL NOT DRY after almost 2 hours. She cut them down way too short (these are my REAL NAILS I've been growing with acrylic overlay). Just a mess. I mentioned some of the things that bothered me and she attempted to fix them. But after each failed attempt, I just acted happy with them to eliminate further disappointment, and also to not cause a scene or ask gor free services, cause I am NOT that type.
