I haven’t been to get my nails done in over a year I use to go to karma back then but stopped due to the nail tech I liked doing my nails left. I decided to try again and this time TEE did my nails! I’m a nail biter so my nail bit is very small. I get them done to keep from biting them and letting them grow out! He did amazinggggg! They still have lasted non have came off or even popped up even alittle bit and I got them done a week and a few days ago! The gel manicure was $30 and was ok. I'd go back for the price but I'll never go back because the place was dirty and junky. The doors were covered in dirt. Even the lotion bottle was dirty. Come on. It's insulting. Getting these types of services are experiences. They should be pleasant. It's self-care. People on Dixie Hwy deserve to go somewhere as aesthetically pleasing as places in others areas of town. This place was gross. It's too bad. I've been going to Karma Nails for about a year now. They are always friendly and cheerful and always do a great job. Never a bad experience, and I get compliments all the time up until my next visit. Wouldn't go to any other nail salon. Prices are comparable to the excellent service. Read Less

If you're wanting somewhere nice and efficient DON'T come here!! First of all the nail tech was too busy talking to the lady next to me that he didn't notice he cut my finger (picture below) with the file and didn't even say sorry, just grabbed my hand back and kept going while it was bleeding! I had to ask for alcohol to clean it off. He acted like he had somewhere better to be and when I asked for a glitter accent nail he sighed and rolled his eyes at me and acted like they didn't have it. To top it all off he didn't put a top coat on my gel polish or rub them with alcohol (which your supposed to do after doing gel to set them). After I asked him to alcohol them he did one hand and then asked for my payment of $35 (for a fill in?!) I had to ask him again to alcohol my other hand and he rolled his eyes at me again. I was getting my nails done by a gentleman name Mr. C that worked in this shop.. he was the best person they had.. after Mr. C left I went back .. and had the worst experience in my life.. the owner Nicked me three times never offered me a Band-Aid, over charge me, didn’t take anything off my bill.. another lady( white) was sitting there got the same dam thing I didI...but she was charge less..CLEARLY this man is prejudice and don’t like black people.. will never go again.. he’s not customers friendly at all.. he has no price list hanging so he can tell you any charge he wants to.. just ridiculous.. Great service and prices. This place is always busy! Great shellac options and amazing pedicures! Week days is the best days to visit them. Saturday's are busy except from about 1-3. I visited on a Saturday and it was super busy! They also have Sunday hours but one of the techs sad it's super crazy on Sundays. They are doing some remodeling too! They have several nail and Pedicure stations. I also noticed a herbal spa option. I was not offered this herbal spa option but will ask in the future. They do a great job! If I could zero stars I would!!!! The lady that did my nails did horrible! Acrylic was all over the sides of my fingers and instead of her trying to remove it properly, she forced my skin to separate from the acrylic. She dug her nails into my skin so bad that I now have cuts. I had to soak off a bunch of glue from my finger tips as well. My nails look like complete shit and some are crooked. I went to Karma after being referred by a friend. I wanted a pedi and a full set with an American Manicure. Well I got the pedi and then ended up doing all powder ( just dip it ) and I love it. I used to love getting my nails done here told everyone to go here NOT ANYMORE! The sad thing is it is because the owners wife is rude and always has a nasty attitude when she has to do nails. She told she was going to do my nails I showed up on the have her taking lunch. She said she was going to still do my nails when she got out. Then after 15 mins she came out and said Are you doing your nails or not? I was confused then she says hurry up and pick a color. I replied I alr...eady had a color and was waiting on her she said well Im only spending 30 mins on your nails because I have a apt soon with someone else. I ask then why did you tell me you would do my nails? She them said just hurry up. I was on hormones and stared to cry and she was still running her mouth. I said get off of me. The customers were even shocked, she then gets up and starts doing a mani and pedi, the lady even asked her how she could do her if she didn't have time to help me. I used to recommend and be a customer of Karma's until today. A friend and I went to another nail salon a month ago and thought we would go back to give Karma another shot. What has happened to this place? As soon as we signed in we could not help but notice that the place is filth! There was dust all over everything, the floors were disgusting, and Christmas decorations from at least 2 years ago! There were no new nail colors set out, the polishes were all covered in dust and the the place reeked because there was no air circulation at all. I walked in and signed the paper, the 3rd person of the day. There were 12 people that signed in after me, and all of them were called back to get their nails done before me. I even got up to look at the sign in sheet to see if they had maybe requested some one, or maybe they were getting something easier done than me (I was only getting a fill in). Amazing, I love my nails! ❤ The woman that did my nails was so sweet! she actually talked to me, a lot of other nail places I go to, do not talk to me, so I am very pleased with the service! But I would definitely recommend this place! My nails, and a lot of other people's nails that I saw looked amazing, including the woman's nails, that did my nails! Low prices also! $25 to get a full set with one nail polish! I used to LOVE getting my nails done at Karma. I even referred several friends & family there. But after my last couple of experiences I will NOT be coming back. Tony was extremely rude to me and my daughter as well as one of the other workers, but I do not know her name. He was being very rough with my nails with the drill because he was rushing and seemed like he was in a bad mood. He cut my cuticle but just continued on being just as rushed and careless about it and treate...d me as if it were a chore for me to be there asking for a fill in. All the while, my daughter sat quietly and patiently waited to get her nails polished (I brought her along as a reward for being so good in school). As the other worker finished up with her customer he asked her to polish my daughters nails to which she made a disgusted face at her and said No! And literally walked away. WTF. Who treats a loyal, well tipping customer that way?!?! Much less a 7 year old child... My daughter was in tears, so we decided to just leave and have her nails painted elsewhere since it was obviously too much trouble for them to provide the service they are paid for. Very nice since new ownership has taken over.  New pedicure chairs that are so nice.Had a pedicure done the first visit.  Was probably the most thorough I've ever had. All of the dry skin was gone and my toes are still looking good and it's been over a month.  Second visit had manicure.  Very nice job. I would definately recommend.  I only had a regular pedicure.  Decor is much more soothing and professional than before.  Seems much more clean.  I'm a big fan of clean.  The only reason I didn't give five stars is I expect a very good massage.  My massage was good, not great.  But there's nothing negative to say about this place.
