I have to admit, I'm a nail shop hopper. I can't help it, I haven't found the right one for me. Along the way though I've witnessed the same things in Lexington nail shops. The number one strange thing to me, is that most of them have children inside of the salon... like children hanging out there instead of in childcare. Which really doesn't bother me because if I'm only there to get my nails done. If you're wanting a relaxing pedicure, keep this in mind though. I called ahead to get the pricing for SNS and was told $30-$35. I asked to have them cut short, so I was a bit put off when the lady said that they would be $35 once I got there. Oh well, the prices here were still some of the cheapest that I've witnessed in Lexington. Everyone here was getting SNS nails, which seem to be the going trend. It's a powder dipping process. When it's time to get a 'fill-in' they soak them off and start over. Or, if you want to keep the same color, they will do a fill-in, which is actually a few dollars cheaper, but I never keep the same color. But they don't charge to for the removal/soak process, as long as you're getting them redone. It's much healthier on the nails than acrylic or gel nails. Read Less

I am a long-time customer of this Foxy nails salon. I will keep coming back as long as the service stays top-notch! I have tried other salons and the quality of work pales in comparison.I always get a spa pedicure (once a month) and simple gel manicure (usually every two weeks). The owners (husband and wife) are experts at the basics! Although the salon is tucked away in an unremarkable plaza, the salon is very clean and the quality of service is unmatched for a salon of this size and price range. You can really tell that owners value customer service and want the customer to walk away satisfied with their nails. My nails always look great, and I receive many compliments. Read Less

I go every 5 or 6 weeks I am on a student budget and I can only afford to go so often. When I go I get a fill and my tips painted it is only $23+tip. I get them cut as short as they can cut them and they make it so when they grow out its as if I don't even have acrylics! I LOVE FOXY!!! I am headed there Friday!!! Read Less
