Molly was my nail technician and she did exactly as I requested and was very gentle with my nail bed, which I deeply appreciate. I've been coming here since it first opened, following some of the staff from another location. The women are fabulous, sometimes the men are a little rough though so don't be shy saying ow. If you don't have an appointment get there early or be prepared to wait. If the wait is really long they'll tell you and you can go and come back and they'll take you right away as if you had an appointment. Read Less

They did a good job on our nails but when we paid, they very rudely accused one of my bridesmaids of not paying and yelled at her in the shop only moments after I had just paid for her. Today was my first visit here after my mom recommended it and I checked out several reviews on Yelp. Everyone was super friendly when I first walked in and I sat down to start my nails almost iimmediately. I asked for a full set of black nails with one finger gold and one finger with a gold design. She told me she would try to do the gold and black finger with design as they don't have the tape / plastic needed. I told her that was okay if she needed to do just all black with one gold I'd be satisfied. I learned she would attempt it and see how it turned out. She was very neat, thorough and gentle. I love my nails and I love that she attempted my design request without the proper supplies and nailed it! It cost around $32 without tip so pricing is reasonable. I will definitely be back!!! They did a great job on my daughters nails, however when we arrived we were asked if we had an appointment which we did not considering we were not informed we needed one the night before. They decided they could take her finallly. We told them that she wanted. fake nails with French tips. The man started her procedure but did the cuticles and prepared to do a french tip on her nails. He was corrected and he did What we wanted. When checking out he charged us for his mistake. I argued it with them to no avail but still had to pay the extra. I know they can pay to alter or remove my comments but if they do I know it will cost more than the amount I was overcharged. Read Less

I cannot speak to the quality of their work as I was not able to receive their service. I made an appointment on Monday for my appointment today, Thursday. I specially asked if they favored appointments over walk-ins and they said they could accommodate me. I was simply told that they had no appointment and turned me away. I secured child care for this so it was quite frustrating. If you are someone who cannot wait for hours for a manicure, I'd suggest going somewhere that actually honors their commitments. Read Less

Four of us showed up as walk-ins for pedicures (impromptu birthday girls day out) and they had us all seated together within five minutes.  The polish selection was highly varied and good quality.  The techs were very efficient but thorough and gentle.  My heels are always in terrible shape by the time I get around to having a pedicure, and at some salons I start getting side eye the third or fourth time they have to clean out the file, but there was nothing of the sort here.  Beaumont is a little out of my usual orbit when we make it up to Lexington, but it's well worth a side trip to come back here. My mom and I have been coming here for years and are very loyal and happy customers. The staff is so nice and accommodating. We come about once or twice a month for gel manicures and regular pedicures. It gets crowded some days, so appointments are best, but not required. Very clean, well-priced place. They offer gel, SNS, acrylic and polish and several levels of pedicures. My favorite part of the gel manicure is putting your hand in hot wax that keeps your hands moisturized for days afterwards. Unfortunately, I have to give Elite Nails zero stars. I got a pedicure a month ago and took my nail polish off last night to find my nails covered in fungus. I would not recommended them, they obviously do not clean tools properly. Read Less

I've gotten non-gel and gel manicures and pedicures at Elite Nail Salon several times. The regular non-gel mani/pedi is $40. When I get a gel French manicure combined with a French non-gel pedicure the price is $65 (higher price for French and gel upgrades). I've always been pleased with the nail technician's courtesy  and skill. Michael and Navi are both great nail techs! I will definitely keep going to this nail salon. They do a beautiful job! Made a special trip across town (30 min) to get a pedicure and manicure. Walked in and the guy said, "we have very long wait." So I left. There were 3 people working in there. This was at 3:30 pm on a Thursday so I guess they are too busy for my business. Guess they will learn to accommodate more customers if they want more business. I'll take my business elsewhere. Sorry. Elite Nails is a clean and efficient nail salon with skilled and friendly staff. They boast massage chairs for those getting pedicures and even provide a complimentary beverage. I am not a "pro" when it comes to manicures and pedicures but I have been to a handful of places to compare my experiences.Elite Nails technicians are quick, thorough and clean! three important things for me! Manicure stations are neat and clean. Pedicure tubs get cleaned after each client and gets filled up with the necessary antimicrobial solutions to allow it to be effective before the next client!I regularly pick on my fingernails and it's hard for me to maintain any length on my nails. The only thing that will last on my nails is a gel manicure. Sealing the edge of short nails is a bit tricky but the technicians here have done a great job.   Prices are pretty reasonable for the service they provide. It is not a mind-blowing experience but it is worth every buck you pay. Read Less

I used to work in Beaumont Circle and would come to Elite Nails all of the time on my lunch break.  Unfortunately I now work on the North side of town and can't make it over to Elite Nails as often anymore.  This is my favorite nail place in Lexington.  It is clean, the décor is tasteful, and the employees are nice.  They also do a great job!  The prices are comparable to other nail salons, but with Elite you get more for your money.  For example, included with a gel manicure is a paraffin wax dip for your hands.  I am planning on bringing my mother here to get her nails done before her wedding next month.  She has never had a manicure in a salon before, so I have to take her to the best!
