I've always had a great experience there. I'm awful when it comes time to get my hair cut. Due to my work schedule, I really don't know when to make an appointment but E-Jay's has always been accommod...
I've always had a great experience there. I'm awful when it comes time to get my hair cut. Due to my work schedule, I really don't know when to make an appointment but E-Jay's has always been accommodating.

I've phoned several times to make an appointment and everytime they act bothersome to make an appointment and never have room - I assume it's because they are busy and when asked if I've been there be...
I've phoned several times to make an appointment and everytime they act bothersome to make an appointment and never have room - I assume it's because they are busy and when asked if I've been there before, which I havn't cause I can't get an appointment, suddenly they really "just can find any time". Literally that is what has been said to me. I've also been told "We have time on this day but she may want to leave early so..." So is this an actual business, or just a place women who do hair/nails go to hang out?? I live nearby and they are always advertising the need for stylist - maybe it's because any respectable, hard working individual wouldn't subject their clients to this lame customer service. Won't be calling again

2 good experiences with Alex here. Also have taken kids for haircuts and much better job than the Supercuts and great clips in strip malls. Styled hair nice and good with children. Also given good ...
2 good experiences with Alex here. Also have taken kids for haircuts and much better job than the Supercuts and great clips in strip malls. Styled hair nice and good with children. Also given good advice for home styling products and use of clarifying shampoo for oily hair. Hair brush issues were also resolved. Would recommend this place and they take walk-ins.

Jenny Hughes is such an amazing stylist! I've been going to her twice a year and thanks to her, my hair is much healthier and grew over 12 inches! (not including the trims I get every time I go!) She has significantly made my hair healthier, longer, and thicker. Very clean and friendly staff.

Friendly and talented staff!! I'm a 35 year old man and my beard and hair always look great when I leave. Reasonably priced and very convenient to the 275 loop. Plus there's a Busken right next door so, you know, donuts and coffee!!

I never write bad reviews but here goes...if you want to make an appointment with a professional hairstylist DON'T choose ERIN. She's unprofessional and clearly doesn't care too much about her job. ...
I never write bad reviews but here goes...if you want to make an appointment with a professional hairstylist DON'T choose ERIN. She's unprofessional and clearly doesn't care too much about her job. I had an appointment at 9:15. Ironically, at the last minute, the appointment time didn't work for me (I have twin infants) but of course I went anyway. She decided to not wake up on time for work & left me hanging. The receptionist was sweet and rescheduled me for later in the day. Maybe I'm lucky she slept in because I don't want someone touching my hair who cares so little about their profession.

Karyn is an awful and rude hairdresser. STAY AWAY! I presented her with many photos of what I wanted, and she did something totally opposite, and then had the audacity to tell me I didn't specify what...
Karyn is an awful and rude hairdresser. STAY AWAY! I presented her with many photos of what I wanted, and she did something totally opposite, and then had the audacity to tell me I didn't specify what I wanted. She had to re-color my hair (that same day) because she messed it up the first time. After the second try and almost 4 hours later, I decided to just go home with my now orange hair she messed up. I'm going to a new salon tomorrow to fix her mistakes.

She had to re-color my hair (that same day) because she messed it up the first time. After the second try and almost 4 hours later, I decided to just go home with my now orange hair she messed up.
