I’ve had SNS nails done several times. Normally every 3 weeks. Yesterday I went to Nails Pretty for SNS. I walked right in no wait. I had to soak the old nails off that were beautiful and done by Lavish Nails in Lexington. I was trying to save time by going to Georgetown. Instead it turned into thick uneven nails. Awful!!!! This has to be the worst place I have been to! I have had some terrible experiences before but this tops it all. Will not return. They didn't change their gloves or wash their hands in between customers. Told me what I wanted on my nails instead of listening to what I wanted. Nails not pretty. I asked for matte black nails. That's all, no crazy designs, no wild colors, just Matte. Black. She painted my nails, and then instantly started putting the matte coat on. No drying in between, not even an attempt, so my nails ended up not being anywhere close to matte. And my nails were not square they were crooked. My nails being crooked drives me insane. Not very good. Got charged $30 for sns on my real nails. Didnt shape my nails, the sides of my nails do not have clear coat on them. And cut my cuticle to short on 3 different fingers. Will not be returning to this shop. Very unhappy Read Less

I was looking for a nail place a little closer to home for SNS on my natural nail, which I have been doing for about a year. I tried this place and the first time it wasn't bad, so I decided to go back again 2 weeks later. The second visit was very sloppy, color all over my skin and my cuticles were burnt off from the grinder. I still decided to go back, but to have a different person do my nails. I went yesterday (the day before Easter). I picked out a solid pink SNS. The girl that did my nails burnt me numerous times, cut several of my nails WAY too short, so they are very uneven. She didn't shape them all the same way, some are rounded, some are square. Then when she did the top coat, I told her that the polish had white spots through it. She just told me that it was the way it was supposed to look, after I told her the color I picked was solid and did not have white spots. She did not offer to fix them, and also got it all over my skin. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I will never return here again! Read Less

In Georgetown they are my number one choice hands down for a manicure or pedicure. They are always friendly, well-staffed, and pleasant. Went in the other day for my vacation pedicure and they had me in and out in 30 minutes. Read Less

Got my eyebrows waxed and a pedicure. The nail tech was very friendly offered me something to drink when I came in to be seated. He did a great job on my nails, was very friendly and went over pricing and what he was going to do before he even touched my feet. The lady who did my eyebrows on the other hand wasn't very personable and she was a bit rough when turning my head during my waxing. Will return for pedicures! Overall great experience! Read Less

Then i go to get them done and another says 50 i told her what the other lady had said she she aked and said only paint it 30 i looked at the price diplay bored and no where on there does it say 50 for anything.. Went to pretty nails yesterday for a mani and gel nails. A man did my nails. I left very disappointed.  He used a clear substance  when he started that he kept smelling,  I asked if something was wrong, while I didn't fully understand his explanation, I smelled it myself. It smelled like a soured sponge. I said I think it's bad, he shook his head yes and continued. The tools they used were not sterile.  My nails were filed crookedly. I get gel fill in and spa pedicures when I go to nail salons.  My natural nails are very thin, so I'm kind of a big baby when it comes to the drill from fill ins.  I always let the nail tech know this up front so they hopefully don't bear down with the drill in one spot which can give a burning sensation.  So because of this, my primary concern and rating result is based on whether or not it hurts.I'm pleased to report that the nail tech giggled when I told him I was a baby, and he understood.  He didn't hurt me at all and did quality work.  The spa pedicure was very nice and relaxing.  He's doing that great citrus smelling scrub thing now and the massage feels great!  The facilities are nice and clean and the prices are reasonable.  They seem to be adequately staffed for the time of day and season.   I didn't have to wait at all and there were other customers in the place.They are open in Sunday's as well, so if I still lived in the area this would be a big plus for me (I'm visiting family.)The only down-side so far is there is no TV in the manicure area.  I won't reduce the rating because of it, since they were at least playing popular music on the radio.  However, sitting in a chair for an hour it's nice to watch sports (Monday Night Football for example).
