Great experience today at Vivid Nails. My nail tech was Kevin. He offered refreshments as soon as I walked in the door. 😁 He did a wonderful job on my nails. I recieved a fill in and two-toned color service priced at $40. I am very happy with my results. The setting was very nice. Friendly staff as well. Wait time was a little extreme seeing as there were only 3 members of staff on duty and customer after customer. I highly reccomend Vivid nails. Read Less

This was terriable. There is one lady there that I always get.I tell her that I would like to keep my length so could you please not file my nails.But she ignores me and files my nail to where you can not even file them any more. So when I put my nails in the light after there painted it stings really bad. Then once I am finished getting my nails painted She will file again and not my nails this time my skin.My skin is now peeling all around my nails and it hurts really bad.I will not be coming back to this nail salon even thought everyone else is wonderful except for the one lady. I used to love this place but the past 3 times I've been they (including the owner) have rushed through my nails and they end up looking terrible not even a week later. I get shellac every time and it's supposed to last 2 weeks. Such a waste of $35. They're more concerned about getting to everyone that walks in the door than doing a quality job. I got a pedicure with my 7 yr old.  One of her toes bled after filing.  I winced a time or two during the prep.  Although tgey appeared to be very ckean, their tools were in a dirty file case.  We will not be returning. Read Less

I won't be back. My shellac manicure was uneven, bumpy and messy looking. Outrageous costs for a terrible manicure and no hand/arm massage or warm towel wrap. Both my manicure and pedicure were the worst I've ever received. Not sure there manicurist name but it was one of the females with short hair. The gentleman in charge was very nice and the salon is clean and looks brand new. Still doesn't make up for the cost and poor service. Read Less

I'm not sure if I will be back! I've been living in Northern Kentucky for almost 3 years, once settled I started looking for a nail place. So between trying new places around the area and bouncing back and forth between salons I ended up at Vivid Nails 3 or 4 times. I had never really had an issue with the salon and would have said they were one of the better in the area that I've tried. However, I went back to the salon today for the first time in over a year and was disappointed. I recognized some of the technicians and it seemed the salon had been recently renovated. In fact the salon looked very nice inside! I asked for a regular pedicure and regular polish manicure but the pedicure was horrible! My technician dug so much at the sides of my by toes that they are now sore. She even cut my left big  toe and painted it before the bleeding stopped! As far as the leg and feet massage it was painful as well. The pressure was hard and not directed to the right places. I was uncomfortable and should have spoke up. The manicure wasn't much better with a quick unsatisfying  massage and hardly any polish applied to my finger nails! I would have expected a thicker, smoother result even with regular polish! The technician did apologize several times for my toe, it didn't hurt so much but looks horrible! She also forgot to ask me to pay before she put my fingernail polish on so she asked if she could get into my purse and into my wallet to get my card. Of corse she did this right in front of me but I felt wired about it. She even forgot my flip flops by the pedicure chair and when I reminded her she didn't go get them. I had to go get my flip flops before I left while someone else was getting a pedicure. Of corse this isn't that big of deal but after everything else I just felt she should have got them when I first reminded her. My whole service felt rushed and unprofessional. I felt like she was trying to rush me out the door just to get to the next customer the whole time. If I choose to go back it will be a long time, and if the service is as bad as it was today it will definitely by my last visit. Read Less

Moved to the area last year. Immediately needed to find a new place for my nails (I have acrylics and am a regular, every 2 weeks, pedicure every other visit normally). When I walked in the first time Kevin took care of me. Such good care in fact, that it was the only place I've been to get my nails done since I've moved here. He is the only one I will let do my nails (in particular). I always wait for him, no matter how long. He makes you feel welcome, even if you are waiting. Drinks, water, snacks, always so welcoming. They recently remodeled the entire interior and it looks amazing! Kevin and his staff value their customers, even if you're not regulars. Always recognizing you when you come in, and give you the best service. You can tell he genuinely loves his job. Ex. Kevin had to bring his son to work one day because he wasn't feeling well and didn't go to school that day, and had to step out for 15 minutes to make a call to the doctor. (he knew I wouldn't mind). I helped his son with his math homework until he came back to do my nails, and he loved every second of it!. This is just a small example of the relationships that Kevin builds with his clients. I know all 3 of Kevin's kids by name, he has been to my work and supported me as well, and he remembers where I'm from and constantly asks about my family and everything. Ladies, this is the place to go for some amazing customer service!! I just moved to Covington and looked up a nail place and found this amazing gem. First of all, I will say that I am a very picky customer. I'm never rude but I definitely advocate for my needs when getting my nails done. The technician wasn't shaping my nails the way I like them and when I asked her to change them, she was so accommodating. At one point, she grabbed her boss because she wanted to ensure that she had a "fresh set of eyes" to meet my needs. When does that ever happen?!? My daughter and I stopped in on a whim on a Saturday afternoon. We chose this salon because of the location and based on the Yelp reviews. We were kit disappointed! Although there was about a 20 minute wait, it was worth it. I went with the deluxe pedicure and my daughter a full set of nails. Wonderful wonderful wonderful service. I've been here many times (just as a walk in) and have only had to wait once, ten minutes tops.  The employees are so nice, so inviting and always recognize their loyal customers. Their attentiveness is off the charts. Thirsty? They have free soda and water. Tense? They'll massage deeper. Tired? They'll keep the volume down so you can rest. I typically come for their reasonably priced pedis. Sometimes I ask for their *$45* "deluxe pedi" (deep exfoliation, calf and feet massage, mud mask and a hot towel wrap- pretty much 45 minutes of amazeballs) when I'm feeling extra blah. My feet receive a lot of abuse from 12 hour shifts at the hospital, and I walk out of here feeling complete rejuvenated. I definitely recommend. Read Less
