I went to Elegant Nails for the first, and LAST time on Saturday morning. I was the first client to sign in and had to wait almost ten minutes for a male tech to come to his station even though there were four techs sitting idle at their stations. That in and of itself would not have been an issue, but when he finally arrived, he received a call almost immediately, he stopped to check his phone. I asked if he needed a minute to take the call, he said he didn't, but he continued to receive calls and check his phone throughout the entire session. He was clearly distracted and the end result of my nails was proof of that. Some nails are squared off, some rounded, they are different lengths, two were actually applied off center. He was talking on the phone as he applied the polish and top coat, and the polish is much too thick and there are "bubbles" so it isn't a smooth finished look. To be honest, I could have done better with a $3 set of press on nails. I considered going back and having them correct the horrible job, but my schedule just wouldn't allow. $35 down the drain since I will have to find another salon and have my nails redone.I will NEVER return to Elegant Nails. I was greeted instantly and was immediately seated to pick out a nail color, which I've been hearing about the powder instead of acrylic. My technician did a amazing job and took the time to go over what I wanted and that I was happy ! highly recommend and I will be going back ! Read Less

I love this place. Very good customer service and they are so wonderful, I came in with so many requests and they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I really wanted to like this place based on the great reviews. The price is right and they offer a lot for one salon (dip power, shellac, etc. ). However each time I came here I was disappointed. My first visit was great in the sense that the person doing my nails was very friendly and talkative. But my pedicure fell short with half my toe nails painted and other half on my skin. The second and third time the nail techs were very quiet. I was judged for coming in only two weeks between visits (trying to find the perfect color to go with my wedding dress).  They were rough with my pedicure. My toes were killing me on my wedding day and I come to find out I have blood under my nails. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you go for a manicure on a lower budget. Read Less

I was in town and needed my nails done. It wasn't crowded, so I got right in.  Large salon, lots of pedicure chairs.  I have shellac nails, so it was$25 for removal and the redo.  I don't know what it costs around here, but that was more than what I pay.  I'm satisfied with my nails.  Good clean place. I had the new SMS powder done here after trying another salon. This place is far better. I highly recommend Elegant Nails. They are meticulous and do things right. I also had a shellac pedicure. Super clean and again a great job. This will be my new nail place. Read Less

I have been going to Elegant Nail Spa for almost 10 years now, and I would never go anywhere else! I am always in love with my nails and get compliments on them almost everywhere I go. Sophie and Travis are more than just my nail techs, they are also wonderful friends. They are very patient and obliging and (like me) are perfectionists. I love going to have my nails and a pedicure done! I have been going here for several years now. I have tried other places, none can compare. The owners are wonderful and the staff is great too! We used to live in Ft Mitchell so this was close to home for me. We now live in Independence and I still prefer to drive the few extra miles. Great salon, I've been going here for a few years for shellac. I have pretty brittle nails and they come up with creative solutions to get the shellac to stay on without chipping. They have over 100 shellac colors to chose from. I always leave happy with my nails. Something else worth noting (the reason I wanted to write this review), I've seen two separate unrelated instances while in the salon where Travis, one of the owners, did the nails of two older individuals who also have special needs. Even though some people may not know what to say or how to act in these situations, he did. He's funny and made them laugh & was wonderful with them. You can tell those people felt extremely comfortable there and you don't see that every day in a nail salon. As someone who frequently gets their nails done, I recommend this place. Read Less

Every one here was really sweet and just cares about giving good service. This may not be the "fanciest" salon around but they treat you well and do a great job. If you don't like something or want something different. .just speak up. Very willing to accommodate. Read Less
