Waited for 30 min . Lady asked what type of pedicure I was getting then walked away . she was rude I had questions . Then finally was called to the seat and the man acted like he couldn't do a gel removal offmy toes he then proceeded to ask another lady to remove my polish . I got a manicure and gel polish done there recently. I will never go back there!  First of all he removed my nail polish with a drill then scraped the rest off using his fingernail!! Yes this is true!!!!! I overheard the manager ask the male worker why he left a bottle of acetone on back of the chair he laughed and said , I was hoping a customer would think it was hand cream. I have been going here for over 2 yrs. I can drive 40 mins and get my pedi and powder dipped manicure and be bsck home and happy with my nails whereas I might still be waiting in line in our town. Love Lamaur Nails - clean, in and out and the do a good job. Highly recommend this place Read Less

First of all the lady in the front who checks you in is extremely rude. The service is poor. He gave me gel when I clearly told him I didn't have enough money. Then yelled at me and continued to do so until my friend stepped between us. I asked him several times to please stop embarrassing me. I asked for the manager in tears and he told me that he was the manager. So I asked for the owner and he was kind and said he would watch and listen to the video and have a talk with him. The last thing they said to me was there is a nail tech across the street I Vann go to. I used to love that place but it's true once you become a regular they become impersonal and terribly rude. This is my first time at L'Amour, and I'll try to be objective. Fast service and two different techs worked on my nails (gel manicure). They didn't clean under my nails before applying the polish, and unfortunately I can already see it lifting at my cuticle so this one will probably only last me a week to two weeks instead of my typical 3-4 weeks. I liked that the tech didn't talk to me but to say thank you at the end - sometimes I just want my nails done and no conversation lol. I came in closer to closing, about 6:30. Staff was very rude to my 5 year old who wanted her nails done the day before starting Kindergarten. I had to go back because the guy didn't listen to me the first time on the length of mine. I also witnessed them take the basket of USED foam flip flops from pedicures to the back and start sifting through them. They collected the decent looking ones to be reused. Seems very unsanitary. I've been going here since 2015 and a technician by the name of Jay would do my pedicures. He was GREAT! Different people would do my nails and that was not so great. They would chip after a few days or the acrylic would be too thick. Other places have done my nails and I would always get compliments. Not when I got my nails done at L'Amour...Also, as of lately, customer service has been HORRIBLE! I haven't had Jay unfortunately & everyone else that has been assigned to do my feet have been HORRIBLE! Today was the last straw! We pay too much money for such crappy service, NOT ANYMORE! This business will never get another dime from me and I will make sure to let everyone I know about my experience and recommend not to go here!!!! I have come here twice to get the SNS Powder Dip nails. I love them! I last had my nails done on July 8. It's now July 26 and they still look exactly how they did when I first got them done, minus the growth. I've noticed that my nails grow much faster and stronger when I get the SNS Powder. The salon is clean and my pedicure was not rushed. There are a lot of younger people working in this salon, which is odd but nice. They are always extremely busy though. I've come when they first open both times, one time was on a weekday, and there are already people waiting. I've never waited more than 10 minutes though. Read Less

The supervisor had a million excuse and it's a walking service no appointment need and I don't understand why the tech Mickey was pushing me off I bear seen anything like it I felt like I was being racial profile and talk down to. Best nail place I've ever been to. The staff is friendly and fun, the place is huge and packed compared to any other places I've been. It looks and feels fancy. Normally I love coming here but they have done me wrong now. I drive just under an hour to come here to get my nails done because I liked them so much. I asked for ombré French nails and got an epic fail but after spending over 2 hours getting them done and having back issues I couldn't sit there any longer. I asked for some kind of refund and was denied because it was a service they already provided. A crappy service might I add. And since that's how they feel then perhaps I won't be tipping them any longer because to me a tip is for the service and the cost is for the product. So now I will have to return so they can fix it and spend half a tank of gas getting there and going home. Not a happy camper. It's an isolated incident so I will see how it goes in the future, but just beware. They will not refund even if their service doesn't hold up or is not up to par. Read Less

I have been to this establishment three times (mostly for convenience) and every time it has been disastrous. First let me start off by saying that the decor and atmosphere are certainly a plus. I found it interesting the number of young adults that work in the shop. I think the owner certainly wanted a younger feel to the business and it worked because the music is great and they have great conversation about pretty much everything young adults are into. However, every time I've had my nails done, it's been by one of the young men who've essentially rushed through the manicure and/or pedicure. The job looks as if a 10 year old had a paint party. Something as simple as the brush stroke was completely off. Short and patchy...extremely weird. The end result is uneven color, polish on my cuticle, no polish on the side of the nail, etc. Although, it's a pretty cool establishment, the three techs that I've used all seem to be extremely inexperienced. They also didn't care listen when I told them I didn't want or like certain things. They just did it anyway. I'd highly recommend not using this nail salon.
