Worst pedicure ever! I asked for a basic pedicure. The technician did not introduce herself. Rushed thru, I was finished in 5 min. Cut me and never said anything. Basically trimmed some of my toenails not all, a pis poor leg massage, and painted nails. Paid more than I have other places that were friendly, engaged, and much more attention to feet. I went in today for a simple shellac change. My nail tech Jessica rushed through the whole thing from start to finish. She wouldn’t get off of her phone and would continue grinding at my nails while looking at her phone which caused her to rip up in to my skin several times. When it came time to put the first polish on, she applied it so horribly I could feel it on the tips of my fingers. She then finished painting them and realized the tips of my nails weren’t smooth from the first file. So she begins to clip the ends with a cuticle trimmer and cut deep into my skin on the corner of my nail. Then on the other hand, she sliced through my skin on my middle finger with a nail file. She just laughed and said, “sorry I got your skin.” I hate complaining about services so I just paid and went on my way. My fingers have still not stopped throbbing so I thought I’d call and just let them know that this happened and that I was unhappy. The person I spoke to was Peter. When I explained to Peter what had happened, he basically called me a liar by asking me how this could have happened when I just came in for a shellac change. I explained that the nail techs always file the nails down and trim them and he still wouldn’t listen to me. All I was politely asking for was a reimbursement. Finally he said all he could do was reimburse me $10 or give me a $25 credit for next time. (WHY WOULD I WANT TO COME BACK?) He very rudely told me that’s all he could do for me and when I came in he wanted to see my nails. I will NOT be going back to Glamour Nails. Waste of money and time. Read Less

I felt like the establishment was super nice and spacious. The techs were rude in my opinion. I came here due to my regualr salon being closed for the new year. I was given a manicure along with my shellac without being asked if i would like one. I wasn’t going to go the extra but that was fine, maybe I needed it. My biggest complaint is that my nail tech was EXTREMELY rough. Immediately she cut my skin with the rough filing she was doing. Digging into my nails to remove the previous shellac I had on. She then cut 3 of my cuticles too close and made them ALL bleed. She laughed it off to me each time. My hands are in actual pain and look battered at this point. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. It is unsanitary and technicians are rude and disrespectful. The nail tech I had, Kenny, did not change gloves between his last client and me (I had to ask), nor did any of the technicians sanitize their equipment after use on a client. They would put their tools back in their basket and hop over to another client and reuse. That is disgusting and how bacteria spreads and infections occur. Kenny was extremely rude to me as well. I asked him prior to being seated if we could test out 2 colors on my toes because I did not know which one I wanted yet. He said yes, that would be fine. When it came time to put on the colors he asked which one I wanted, and I told him I still was not sure and reminded him that he said he would do a swatch of both to see. He then told me "No, I won't. That's too much work." when I asked why, he said it was because he already put the top coat on and removing it would be too hard. I was extremely confused because 1. I already asked you to do this before you even provided a service and you agreed and 2. Placing one stroke of some nail polish and removing it is not a long process...many have done it before. He started to yell and talk about me with his coworkers and I ended up making him swatch it on my fingers instead because he refused to do what he agreed. Terrible experience and over charged. I will never go back. The young man who did my nails was rough and impatient. Wanted a refill on acrylics pink and white, just had the lower part of nail retouched, the pink part ...and it doesn't match the older part. He insisted that is normal. Wanted a repair on a crack and can still see the crack. He charged $30 after I argued with him and wasn't going to budge. Awful place. Went here to prepare for my sisters wedding. The bride got the dip powder. They put all of the mixture on at once, rather than layers. This has now caused throbbing pain on my sisters fingers. As I walked to my station, the tech flipped the towel on the table to get someone else's nails off. Very unsanitary! Read Less

Okay don't normally do this, but please stay away from here. Have had acrylics off and on for 20 years so not new to this. I had a set put on 1 month ago, had filled in no problem, they aren't friendly but that's fine. Tried soaking them off as I'm having surgery won't he able to go back for awhile. I bought pure acetone as I always have, 3 hours later they are still the same, hard as a rock, have not dissolved at all. I googled and they have used dental acrylic not nail acrylic. Cheaper cost but illegal as can cause problem and you have to have drilled off. Called state board have filed complaint. It is cloudy not clear, PLEASE BEWARE! Read Less

Only rating this place a one star because it's necessary to create a review. I went there with my friend, who is a regular, to get my nails done for Father's Day coming up. I told the woman, believe her name was Yen, that my father has recently passed and this meant a lot to me to get these nails to honor that. The woman I had seemed annoyed that I had asked for three nails to have designs on them, which I provided pictures of. Two of which were just writing like "I ♥ Dad" and "#1 Dad", then the other was an outline of Ohio, I provided a picture and everything, she half assed it, saying it wasn't going to look spot on. I told her it didn't have to be perfect, I wouldn't expect it too, but she didn't even try to make it resemble Ohio, she molded it into a different shape. I had to explain to her for almost ten minutes that it isn't supposed to look like an "M" at the bottom.... She failed to listen to my requests and painted my other ring finger the opposite color and then put sparkled nail polish on it, which I was basically forced to accept or it would be left a dull looking color. After she gave me attitude about my nails, though I am paying and tipping her, basically providing her a job, she rushed through my other nails that after I left, almost later that night, I started noticing bubbles in the nail polish. The paint job was not what I expected, feel like that was her "punishment" since I wanted to have designs on my nails, although they knew about it ahead of time because we had made sure someone could do them. I originally wanted an Eagle head on my thumb nail but she said she couldn't do that. I had to go five days after having my nails done to another nail salon because my index nail broke in half, and when the new nail salon went to remove it, it came off so easily and he said that they must not have used enough powder and liquid ratio. Zen Nails in Florence is FIVE STAR rating and Mark there did my nails the way they should have been. He did an Eagle head, and Ohio, and the I love dad on my nails and they all look PERFECT. Went for my nails and got a. Dry rude girl, who cut me twice. She was rushing. She said sorry but you said I should hurry. I never said that. Went back two months later for my toes. Everything seemed to be going alright until amidst painting them, the guy decided to cut off a huge chunk of my pinky nail. It hurt. He never rounded off the edge of it either. I have had my nails done before and that's never happened to me until today. He spent little time shaping my nails and it shows. Several are extremely uneven and different lengths. They also look like they've been growing out for a few days already because he didn't paint far enough back. Both of my thumbs have huge portions on the side that are not fully painted and look like shit. I spent $43 in total. $5 to remove the acrylics that were already on my nails. $35 for the gel mani. $3 for tip. I don't feel like I got my money's worth Read Less

I was a frequent flyer here until I found a place closer to home. I've never had an issue here. Always nice. Never have waited very long. They always seem to get me in quickly and do a nice job. No appointment is necessary. I like that I can be out shopping and decide to get a mani and can walk in and get one. Read Less

The good: Convenient location and no need to make an appointment, unless you want a specific tech. The bad: Not all techs are equal. I've gone to Glamour nails probably a dozen times over the past couple of years for pedicures and shellac manicures. Only once have I gotten stuck with a tech who seemed inexperienced, but it makes the process extremely painful (literally). The ugly: Although generally a clean facility, my last experience left me less than satisfied as I was thoroughly grossed out by the tech's station. The shellac dryer had visible and tactile grime on both the inside and out, and the tools looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, much less between clients. I didn't even see any sanitizer out. I left and immediately felt the need to scrub my hands. Definitely did not have any relaxing time. Also, they don't allow for credit card tips. I stopped in on a whim and was disappointed with service and quality. Nail tech stopped doing my nails to take a phone call and then again to make a phone call. I have had about 60+ gel manicures and this one was weirdly different. She painted 1 nail at a time and then had me stick it under the light. I have never had someone not do the whole hand. The polish isn't even às there is a ridge of color at the end of my nail. After 3 days I have had a few hangnails and needed to file them as the edges were jagged. I did not see any form of sanitation happening either. My usual nail salon (NKY Nails in Cold Spring) uses sterilized tools (like you see with a dentist) and they charge $30 for removing gel + gel manicure. This place charged $35 just for manicure. During my manicure the nail tech stopped and started texting. She even told me to wait a minute. The nail polish was put on unevenly and in some places could see through it. I had to repaint my nails when i got home. I would NOT recommend this place. Read Less
