My husband and I went today. Kevin gave me a mani/pedi and Anna gave David a pedicure. Kevin knows his job and is very, very good. I went in on March 17th and got white tips. Was not happy at all my mail under was showing on the sides so I went back next day and the guy fixed them but they were all rude about it. I go back today a week later to het a fix where my thumb broke and some women puts a ton of stiff on my nail which anyone could tell if wasn't right but they get upset because I want it right. I don’t like going to nail shops as it. However I decided to give this one a try. I got a gel pedicure that started to chip within a couple of days... they also didn’t get any dead skin off my feet felt the same if not worse. Also I got a full set acrylic with gel polish. Came in the day before spring break and it was crazy busy, but i did not have to wait long at all. Kevin did an amazing job on both my toes and nails and even though they were so busy he took his time to do his best. I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. I went in for my first time to get my nails done. They where uneven and not done all the way. Some nails where longer than the other and the guy who did mine put shellac on there and didn't tell me that it was going to be $15 more dollars!!! I will not be going back ever! Read Less

They do Mani/pedicure reg/shellac and I expect acrylics. I have only had a couple things done they may do more. I recommend Chi (pronounced Chee) She speaks enough English to make conversation and she is very nice. Read Less

Did SNS and top layer started peeling off the same day. Went and got It fixed and within a week all of It had come off. Honestly the worst place that I've ever done my nails at, and the crowded atmosphere doesn't help either. Read Less

The only salon that I will ever go to when I am in need of a pedi. Shelby has done an excellent job and has been very accommodating to what I need for a pedi. I would recommend making an appointment if you would like to request a certain person as they are typically busy. Otherwise, you will have to wait as a walk -in. Read Less

I have gone to this salon for several years. I am an older lady and have always been treated with upmost respect and care. I get manicures & pedicures on regular basis and have NEVER been disappointed! The staff is always friendly & courteous to me. Shelby always does my nails & I love her. I've been going to Shelby at Venus Nails for several years. She does a GREAT job on my nails, and I am about as picky and OCD as they come! Yes, they do take walk-ins but if you want to get in and out then it's best to make an appointment--just like at the doctor's office. If they are busy, you will need to wait. If you want a specific tech, then you may have to wait longer. But I love this place! I wouldn't go anywhere else in town! My daughters and I have been coming to here for years. I have even recommended it to others. After today's experience not only will I not return I will also never make the mistake of suggesting it to anyone again. Shelby is not the same as she use to be. Now she acts like she is too good or important to do anything unless they have an appointment. Issue is I always get nail design on my nails and for what ever reason she is the only one that can do designs. I informed them wh...en checking in that I was ok with anyone doing my nails but Selby is the only one that usually design my nails. Then when time came to do the design she was annoyed and said she didn't have time. When I explained that I told them from the beginning that I wanted design she agreed to do them. Then she charged me way more for then she ever had for the same design. When I brought it to her attention that the polish was different once she changed colors she began arguing that they were the same color even though it's very obvious the one she changed to is much darker. Visited yesterday (I'm from out of town) and was horrified. I called to assure they did SNS. When I arrived, the lady grinded off the SNS, which is not how that's done. She made my nails hot and removed a layer of my natural nail! She did not use SNS powder and left big chunks in what was supposed to be the SNS portion of the mail. I politely ask her to remove whatever it was and she ignored me. I asked multiple times for her to stop working in me. Becoming fed up, I asked a man to let someone else do my nails and he ignored me! I had to raise my voice in order to get someone else to remove the product and fix my nails. I also left with multiple cuts to my cuticles. As someone who gets their nails and toes done every three weeks at different salons, this is THE worst salon I've ever been to. Read Less

My mom and I went here about a week ago and we got acrylic nails. Both of use where rushes the gentleman who did are nails where talking and answering phones. And the nails look horrible my polish is not on evenly and my nails are chipping and I had to glue one back down already. My mom's nails are not even both hands are a different lengths she got French tips and one nail looks shine and OK the other one is cloudy and dull looking. I just moved to BG and went to Venus this morning to have a gel mani before my wedding tomorrow. They had tons of colors to choose from and my nail tech Paul was very nice. I could tell he really cared about his work and the way my nails turned out. I'll definitely be back to see him. Read Less

Have been there several times but today's experience wasn't good at all. My pretty spring color has a dark color from where the guy painted the dark color then my bright color. Told them I wasn't happy but felt like I wasn't even paid any attention to. I also can tell that the powder shellac will start peeling bc it's over on my finger in places. Very unhappy today with my experience. With the amount I pay I should walk out happy for next two weeks. Read Less

Third time in a row I have been to this location for gel mani and regular pedi and then not be able to finish what I requested bc it got too busy. I travel all over the country and have been to many nail salons and never have I been asked mid manicure to come back to get it finished later bc they are too busy and not everyone can do a design. I completely understand that not everyone is able to do a design but I sat and waited, prepped and ready for one of the other nail techs to come and after 10 min they requested I come back in 4 hours when it won't be as busy.
