This place is so fantastic it puts the estimated of the nail salons to shame. It's private-a separate room for getting your nails done and reception so people can't just walk in and interrupt service. The nail techs are all very professional and give the best service and care. They do absolutely beautiful nails. I have been to other shops and I'm so impressed with this one. The new dipping powder is awesome, it allows u to grow your own nails with an acrylic overlay in any color u could imagine whether u do just a colored tip or the whole nail in color. Prices are comparable to doing tips butit lasts almost at least 3 weeks. I've never had such long nails!! And they are mine...no tips! Love it love it love it! Was politely greeted when I entered, and able to get in right away for a pedicure as it was a slower time of the afternoon. Was offered a selection list for pedicure options and not pushed for any of them unlike other salons I've gone to. My nail tech was through and kind. Now I'm quite possibly the most picky person in the world. Especially when it come to my nails. It's as if she knew what I wanted because she went to work right away in exact detail of how I had it mapped out in my head. She was very meticulous with his perfectionist each nail. Not only was his work flawless but where there was any small imperfections she quickly fixed it before I could even notice. Now that's the level of customer service I want every time I go anywhere. I totally agree with the last review. I would give it a zero if I had the option. The WORST mani/pedi that I have ever had. The lady was rude, rough, and did a horrible job. She was so pushy about me getting shellac that I almost walked out. I rarely give really bad reviews, but I will never go back and I don't recommend anyone else go there. Read Less

Been going here for years and have always had a great experience! I try to go during less busy times of the day because they are always packed (very popular place!). I usually get mani/pedi shellac and they turn out great and last about a month. Tammy and Kenny are my favorites, but love all of them! I've taken my daughters in, and they do special little designs for them. Highly recommended. Read Less

Tried shellac for the first time. My nail chipped off after 4 days. Went to get it fixed. It broke again the next day. Got my nails done for vacation && they didn't even last for the trip. Not happy.Read Less

Absolute worst experience of my entire life. Not only was Nicki, the "nail technician," extremely rude, but her work is horrendous. It has been less than 24 hours and I have to go ANOTHER SALON to fix her sloppy work. My nails are uneven, I am still covered in purple paint, two of my nails have dents in them, and another one is already starting to lift. The worst part is I paid for a gel manicure and left with wet nails????? I even asked if I could wash my hands again and after rolling her eyes she started screaming and making a huge scene. The only reason I gave one star is I don't have the option to give 0. I am shocked businesses like this are still open. I went in for a gel manicure and was seated with Nicki. Her work was incredibly sloppy. My cuticles were covered in polish, my nails uneven, and there are bubbles on several nails. Ironically, I was patient through all of this. She even spilled cuticle oil all over my hands and jacket, and I still was understanding. It wasn't until after I paid that I realized my gel nails were still wet and I was getting purple paint all over me. I simply asked if I could wash my hands again and she rolled her eyes. Another man, who I am assuming was the manager came over as I was wiping the purple paint off and asked what the problem was. I told him everything was fine and I was just waiting for my husband. He grabbed my wrist and insisted Nicki fix it. Nicki start screaming and making a huge scene in front of the entire 'salon.' It is very expensive to go to SOHO to get your nails done now days. It went up $3-$10 at least and the nail techs don't care who you are, ONLY your money. I don't mind to pay extra money for my mani & pedi, but I don't think this place is any better or even worsen (my opion) than it used to be. If I have to pay that much, I better look some else like Venus or Modern Nails for my nail services. Those places are much cleaner and their chairs are amazing. This place has went down since the previous owners were here. The new nail techs and owners are horrible-no where better than Lucy & Ivy.. They were so fast doing my nail and it was chipped 3 days later. I also noticed their PRICES has gone UP-VERY EXPENSIVE, but the services are LOUSY. Don't waste your money there. Read Less
