Wonderful service! Melinda does an excellent job! I had to bring my two girls 5 and 2. She didn’t mind them being there at all. She even gave them each some Hersey kisses and they made her laugh. We had a fantastic experience today! My daughter and I had mani-pedi's and it was our first time to try Jade Nails. The staff was very friendly and it didn't take long before they were joking around with us like we were long time friends. Very particular with the shellac on my nails and super delicate when trimming my cuticles. The pedicures were also FABULOUS!!! I have heard very good things about Jade nails. I am very dissapointed because today I took my daughters to get their nails done and was immediately asked if I had an appointment. No I did not, doesn't it say on the window walk ins welcome? It also says it on the General info on this page, " Please schedule an appoint with Melinda or Joe though our business line.. (620) 402-6190 or text/call Melinda personally @ (620) 218-4492. Walk-Ins are also welcomed! Hope to see you soon! :D." But as soon as I said no a guy said " we don't have time for you." There was no, we would be glad to make you an appointment for some other time, nothing. We found a place in Derby(yes we was a walk in) and they was very friendly and did a terrific job, where we will be taking our business from now on!! Read Less

I have been getting my nails done here for a couple of years now. Everyone has always been very nice, respectful and friendly. There have been times I have taken three of my grandchildren with me and everyone was very friendly to them. I don't let my grandchildren just run around, get into things or be where their not suppose to so there have never been any issues. I have gone without an appointment and had to wait but I understood that showing up without an appointment ...would cause a wait. They have to take their customers with appointments on time even if I have to wait. They always told me I would have to wait but I could pick out the nail polish I want to use while I'm waiting and while there I have heard them tell other customers they would have to wait but they will get to them as soon as they can. When you go somewhere like this without an appointment you have to realize the customers with appointments will go first. The point of having an appointment is so you don't have to wait, good customer service is making sure they get the customer with the appointment in on time even if that means customers without appointments have to wait longer. I usually make an appointment so I don't have the wait time. I always get there on time and I never have to wait more than a few minutes while they finish with the customer they have. They always listen to what I want and I have ALWAYS had great customer service and my nails always look beautiful. I have NEVER had any problems. I recommend them to everyone. Everyone there is awesome - friendly, talented, gentle, and they listen to what you want done rather than just doing their own thing - unless that's what you want! Melinda always gives me the most beautiful nails and has lots of ideas when I want an extra touch. Be sure and try their SNS product. Having been a nail biter who hid my nails and hands for almost 50 years, I am REALLY enjoying showing them off now. Everyone always wants to know where I get them done!! I don't normally take the time to write reviews but after being offended twice, I feel I need to! Both times I walk in and ask if they have time for a set of nails and I am told yes. I begin to look for nail color and almost immediately am told "you don't hurry, I don't have time for you" not 1 person asks if I need help or what it is that I'm looking for. Tonight being my second time I tell them I would like my nails soaked off and a NEW set put on. I am told "no no just refill" that's fine if they would like to offer that to me as an option but to flat out tell me no?!? Really? (It's more money THEY could have made) So again I am back trying to find polish and ask if they have color changing polish and he responds "yes bottom shelf" I then asked where it says the color they change to as I couldn't find it on the bottle. He responds "I don't know" never offered to try one out for me or to even ask what color it is I'm looking for. He returns to another customer as I sit in the back looking lost and uncomfortable. I ended up pulling a piece of paper out from my wallet to try myself....again no one offers to help me. While I'm trying to figure this nail polish out I hear the guy holler across the room at my son "up up you don't sit in my chair" i couldn't believe how rude they treated us! I have NEVER been so u comfortable at a salon before EVER! I have recently went to a nail salon in wichita that made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped in their store. I heard about jade nails and how they were a friendly place to go. But honestly today was my first time there and I had a horrible experience! They don't communicate with you nor listen. Ny nails turned out okay but my point is they didn't listen on how I wanted it done. It may be the place for other people bit not me. Some may be offended about this post but I don't care. I had a very unfortunate experience with another nail salon in Wichita yesterday (Salon Knotty & Day Spa on Rock Rd) and I called Jade this morning to get my shellac French tips fixed properly. I had only had one pedicure there before, and I knew they were professional and knowledgeable. They were able to get me in the same day, and I even took my mom with me for a double appointment. Both of us were in and out (and thoroughly enjoyed the appointment) in less than 45 minutes. Melinda and Joe were both so kind and funny, as well as fast and efficient at their jobs! Melinda drew a beautiful flower design on each of my mom's ring finger nails and used a little jewel as the center of the flower. We left them great tips and we will definitely go back! Read Less
