Heather has been cutting my hair for several years. My wife and two kids also get their hair taken care of here. Having a place that the whole family can go to and get great service is awesome. The location in the Delano District is really convenient, no too far east or west. If you have trouble parking on Douglas, there are usually plenty of spaces in the back lot, right near the rear entrance. They keep a clean, trendy shop. Read Less

I really hate to do this because they were so very nice, but it was a terrible manicure. No cuticle work at all except for a little drop of oil. They were not filed evenly. No hand massage. You could see my nail through the polish on two of my fingers. I even asked where she went to school, hoping to hear that she was a brand new graduate... but she wasn't. Read Less

I hadn’t been back for around 3 years but that’s not because I don’t love this place but because we moved. Went in today to see Stacy and as usual she did a wonderful job. My mom took me to her when I was about 10 years old for my first professional hair cut and have never been disappointed over the following 10+ years after that. Definitely going to plan to go back. Very seldom do I take time to review any place but I want to review Salon 535 & Jill. On a whim I saw late one evening you were open & stopped as a walk in. Jill got me in within minutes. I have never been able to find a stylist I liked who stayed any place ling enough for me to utilize regularly. So when Jill advised how long they had been around I was intrigued. I have had Stacey Floyd cut my hair for over 25 years and have ALWAYS been delighted when I leave! I cannot possibly give them any higher recommendation from an old, loyal customer and friend. Stacey and Jill started on Grand in Haysville long ago, when tanning beds were the rage. They moved from there to a bank building in Haysville, then finally to their great shop in Delano. Stacey has always fit me in for a haircut unless she is gone and if that's the case, Jill has stepped in and cut my hair, which was great! You two are the Cat's Meow! I have been a customer of Stacy Floyd's for over 25 years and have always had great, great service as well as always being extremely happy with the haircut I've received! If anyone has not tried this Salon, I would doubly highly recommend it - you will not find happiness anywhere else in Wichita! It is located in the old Travel Air building in Delano, right after you cross the bridge/river. It sits on the south side of the street, right next to the rental car agency - Go See Them! Great atmosphere, but nail tech just went through the motions and I would not return. My sister took me for a pedicure for my birthday. We went together - she had the main nail tech and I had another. My tech was not very good and neither was the pedicure. She ran the file over my heel just barely touching the skin which meant she didn't remove any callus. Same with the massage. She was more touching me than giving a massage. When she removed my old red polish, she didn't buff the nail to get the old color off or smooth it before applying new. The entire experience was over in about 45 minutes, while my sister's was more than an hour, while the obvious difference in experience was startling. My sister's tech was chatty and friendly which compensated for my tech. About the only thing she wanted to do, was talk about how she wanted to leave and wished she was still on vacation. Then she started talking about the possibility of leaving work early. While I understand the sentiment, it doesn't make for a good customer experience. The facility was well maintained and charming. Most implements were either new or disposable. While they have massage chairs at this salon, they are only okay. There are enough nail salons in the area that I won't go back and would not recommend. I usually get my hair done in the evening and I'm very happy with the outcome but couldn't have it done last evening because I worked at the Parent-Teacher Conference.
