I thought this was going to be a beauty supply store , because I am a cosmetologist. However, when I arrived I realized very quickly that this was a retail store for the attached salon. The staff is always friendly and professional. The store is well-stocked despite being on the small side, and the incentives and deals are great. My wife went in, and having never been to one, she expected a discount beauty store. Or at least something a little bit more affordable. It totally looks like some generic discount store. Bland storefront, boring logo, plain name. She said they had some really expensive stuff that she was not expecting to see like $50 bottles of shampoo. Anyway, their marketing is completely misleading and I really think they're doing a poor job of getting the attention of their target customers. I can't see anything about this store that would attract people who would actually spend $50 on shampoo.Read Less

Just got my makeup done by Samantha, and she was fantastic! I went in looking for some higher quality makeup because I am having my engagement photos taken next weekend, and Samantha completely saved me! I was totally lost and had no idea what to pick or how to use it, and she showed me some of her favorite products and how to apply them. She was so friendly and helpful and easy to get along with. Vernyce Johnson is awesome! She is super nice & chill. On two separate occasions, I have walked in to this location and she has given me great hair cuts. She really knows what she is doing. I have had problems with how my hair lays in the back & have also had problems with my hair looking heavy on the ends because it is long, but she fixed all that with a quick cut. I travel & move often so I hairdresser hop lol quite a bit but I can honestly say she is one of the few people that has given me a proper cut. She is also great with eyebrows & dye. She took the time to fill my hair twice when I was dying my hair back to black from blonde rather than just slapping on the dye like some hairdressers. The salon here is the real star. I have a unpredictable schedule and strange hours. They are *always* able to accommodate me, even with incredibly short notice.In addition, I have been on the prowl for a great hairdresser since I arrived in Topeka in 1995. This is no easy feat.
