Over all the service was good, nail techs were nice and friendly, I brought my niece there for a Niece/Aunt day however, they dont have fans to help dry your nails. I had to have the receptionist dig into my purse to get money out so I wont smudge my nails, which didnt matter, I smudged them when I was putting my seat belt on. They made an error during booking and booked only one of us, when the employee had confirmed it was for two people. My MIL drove an hour for the pedicure. Their customer service was poor. When I asked how they would rectify the situation, they offered to have only one person get a pedicure with 10% off. We left. Read Less

I love A La Mode for ease of appointments and great client care. Would love to see you take steps at improving your environmental impact. Give customers a small perk for bringing in their own flip flops (One time use is ridiculous) Get a filtered water cooler and ban the bottles! Read Less

Since I've moved from Minneapolis, I've missed going to A La Mode. It's a very nice and luxurious manicure that's efficient and inexpensive. I came in with horrific nails and now they are more gorgeous than I could've dreamed! I am a professional ballroom dancer- so from teaching and performing lately they've been getting pretty cracked and dry. I went in yesterday to a wonderful nail salon experience. This is a lengthy review, but I had such a wonderful experience I have to share. My mom and I had a great time at A la Mode Boutique and Nail Salon! She lives out of town and saw their feature in Minnesota Monthly and suggested we go. She used the online scheduling system, which worked great. We had a morning appointment for pedicures. This was only my second pedicure so I was a little nervous, but we were greeted so warmly that any fears I had went away. I loved how the pedi...cure stations were in the back of the space. The whole shop was gorgeous. Now considering I’ve only had one pedicure before this I don’t have much to go by, but this one blew the other one out of the water! All of the treatments felt so luxurious and Cheryl did a fantastic job on my nails. My mom’s pedicure was done by Edwina and she also did a fantastic job, even suggesting a color that worked best for my mom as she couldn’t decide between three colors! :) We both got the Signature pedicure and agreed next time we would splurge and go for the Luxury pedicure. After our pedicures we perused the shop and didn’t feel hurried or pressured to buy anything. My mom ended up getting a pillow and I got a candle. Seriously, it’s the best smelling candle I’ve ever bought – and I’ve bought a lot of candles! The owner was the nicest person, so sweet and welcoming. Even though I did not get my hair cut here, I have had a great experience.I called to get my hair done for prom, and everything was fine and dandy.  Later that day, I receive a call from the lady who was scheduled to do my hair saying that she was unsure if she could fit me in, as she knew she was going to be running late.  Based on this, they have excellent customer service, and I wish I could have done business with them.
