I took my 2-year-old daughter with me to get our nails done (pedicure for me and just a paint on my daughter’s toenails and fingernails). The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The owner’s two daughters did our nails, and they very professional and did a great job! I am looking forward to going back for a hair cut and/or nails again. I would definitely recommend this! P.S. We visited family at Shawnee, KS and I heard that this Salon is really very good. I only needed haircut, but, when I was there, I saw a customer who was having her color hair done(balayage). It was so nice and beautiful and so I told the hairstylist Rhea to do the same with my hair. The outcome was more way better than I expected. Rhea did a very job well done! I commend her for her expertise on what they do in their salon. I have been going to Comfort Salon for 6 months and I love it. I go once a week for a style. I Aways get a good hair cut and a very sweet friendly stylist. I get my nails done every 3 weeks and the Gell Polish is wonderful. They are very accommodating when my personal schedule changes. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Read Less

This place was a waste of my time and money. I bought a Groupon for a ombre, haircut, tone, and style. I showed the stylist, Rhea, a picture of how I wanted the ombre to look. She asked if I wanted it to look obvious or natural. I told her I wanted it to be obvious like the picture. She then started and we looked at the picture multiple times and she assured me that it was going to look like I asked. When she was finished I told her that it looked nothing like the pictu...re, and other than being shorter my hair looked the same as when I walked in the door. She said well this is how I like to do ombres, you want it to look natural, not like you actually colored your hair. I could of spent a lot less money and time to get a trim somewhere else. So i dont write on reviews cause im not a complainer at all but i wish i had someone warn me if they had a bad experience and had there hair ruined, so i bought a Groupon for a partial highlight, cut and style at comforte salon with rhea and i told her exactly what i wanted had a picture and said how to do it and im a cosmetologist so it was very clear and my hair got destroyed which really upset me cause ive been tryin to get my hair really healthy and long again so i only w...anted my roots done and she ended up givin me grey highlights i asked for icy blonde baby lights only on my roots blended and my hair didnt look much different now i had grey highlights whitch was the opposite of blonde.So i went back in the next day and so i was like i need my hair toned back to blonde and actual blonde in my roots caus i never color my hair and rhea wasnt wanting to actual put blonde in my hair i paid 80$ for the groupon and a extra 60$ for olaplex and that is something that helps your hair repair from the damage of bleach. Rhea ended up puttin more blonde in and dont get me wrong she was a very sweet and nice lady but i had to go home tone more of the grey out of my hair and my haircut is long on one side and short on the other i only wanted bout half of an inch cut to. My hair so damaged its never been this awful and looks like it can just break idk what she did but ive gotten olaplex and blonde in my hair for years and never ended up this damaged even after i did conditioning treatments on it i had to cut alot off myself. I sound like im bitchen and im not like that but my hairs damaged and my money was waisted to just damaged my hair even more and i had to spend more money to get it fixed and some what healthier again. Almost 4 hrs in there for gel nails and eyebrow wax but Stormie and Rhea were absolutely hospitable, accommodating, personable and friendly. Laid back and down to earth too. Salon is very chic and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely go back. I'd rather you take all day on my nails and they are perfect, than 20 mins and they chip and break the next day or two. It started with the phone call to make and appointment for a pedicure. Lady on the phone didn't understand what My friend was saying. Took four tries to get her name right. Then She gets the confirmation text, her first name is Gabby instead of Debbie.?!So We get there for her appointment and discover that her wheelchair has difficulty getting through the door, and the look on the lady's face was very unfriendly. Like she didn't want us there. I saw the pedicure station and knew she wouldn't be able to get up there. She told her son to get her out of there. The lady kept saying "Sorry this is all we have." Comforte Hair & Nails Salon is the best Salon I've ever been to. I love the beautiful interior design and everything inside. The environment is so warm and friendly. I love my hairstylist Rhea Ko. She is very talented and very professional. She did my hair incredibly beautiful. She just knew what I wanted. I received lots of compliment from my work and friends. They loved my hair!
