It is claustrophobic in the pedicure area in my opinion. I got a deluxe pedi ($45) and was done in less than an hour. They also charge $1 for the packet of product used for the $45 pedicure. In the town I live in, a deluxe is a lot of massage and very very relaxing, I went with four other people who got regular pedicures and we got done at the same time. It was ok. I had the WORST experience here. From the start, the woman that helped me did not greet me, she did not speak almost the entire time or asked me if I liked the nails as she was doing them. I got ombré, it was very horribly blended, you can see the crease in the nail. This, was a problem but I was okay with it until today. I got them done Saturday and a nail broke TODAY! Today was the first time I’ve been to this nail salon. I enjoyed my previous nail salon but this is far closer for me. The front desk staff was very friendly. When I first arrived they were extremely busy and rather than having me wait, they asked if I could come back at another time. I came back and was immediately seen. Had a great first experience here. Did a full set of acrylics with Teresa - she was amazing! Great conversationalist, and wonderful at explaining everything that goes into the acrylic process. The best nail salon in mission hands down! When I moved here a year ago I tried several places and finally ended up here. They are 100x better than my last go to salon and I am so happy with my nails everytime. I just do gel manicures and they seem to last forever even through my constant hand washing at work. The absolute best around, love them great prices and great people! The one time I did have a bad experience it was immediately cleared up. I've been all over for eye brow waxing but no where compares to here. Annalisa is my personal favorite, but they all do a pretty amazing job. I have gone to Nail Perfection for a number of years and like the fact they use the liners in their pedicure tubs. I use Kevin when I can get into him and really like his work. I have had some people at times that I didn't have such good results, but for the most part, they are really good and haven't found any place better. The owners are always friendly and always remember me when I go in. Kevin and Piper are my faves! Kevin is funny and keeps me entertained as he is working! Piper is quiet and sweet and just does her job, but is very friendly and does a great job on pedicures. I don't think I have had her do my nails! I booked a gel mani and regular pedi and was very happy with the results. Searching for the perfect place for a good mani can be painful, lucky for me I found Nail Perfection. First impression, they seem to be unorganized. First stop was the pedicure area, this area was crowded by the chairs and staff, each customer was side by side.  The staff seemed to get lost trying to navigate. They offer a variety of complimentary drinks to make your experience more pleasurable. Along the drinks they offer is white and red wine!!! My basic pedi was very nice, it was relaxing and the massage longer than I've experienced at other salons. No complaints here! The manicure area is not as crowded, each station was equipped with two gel lamps. I've gone to places that only have one lamp per station and this delays the time your mani takes since you have to be switching hands. It seemed strange to me that the final top coat for the gel mani burned while under the lamp. I asked why this was and they said that this happens. It was the first time it had happened to me, the pain is not extreme it's just shocking at first. They offer more color options than I had time to sort thru, however the staff was knowledgeable and provided suggestions about colors or maintenance.There are things they could improve about such as better organization and perhaps expanding to a larger place but those things are not that significant to me when in return you get excellent service and stellar mani/pedi.I waited two weeks to post this review because I wanted to see the wear. I've been trying to find "my pedicure place" and this will not be my place. My experience started off great- I called to make an appointment, they were able to easily make my request and we're very polite over the phone. When I walked in I was greeted by a formal front counter which I liked and I was promptly seated. This is when things went down hill. Dear lord the interior is a hot mess. Theirs TONS of chairs... the same feels very cramped and you can see cleaning supplies everywhere. Everything just seemed misplaced and disorganized. It sadly felt dirty. Finally they split their polish colors across the studio... so if you want to compare brands/colors you'll walk back and forth like the energizer bunny. My pedicure itself was very good! I believe the gentleman's name was Mike and he did a great job and gave me a fantastic long long massage - brownie points. I was very happy with my service. The check out was quick but you can't leave a tip on a credit card. Y'all. It's almost 2017. Seriously. I mean seriously. This is a deal breaker for me. Call me a diva but this is a serious reason for me not to return. This place needs an investment on interior and serious new cleaning regimen. Love love love! My mom has been coming here for years (Kevin is her favorite) and so when I finally decided I needed a little pampering I was eager to give this place a try. I came in with an appointment at 230 on a Tuesday for a brow wax, mani and pedi. They had customers, but weren't packed. Hailey was my girl all day, and she was great! Quite the perfectionist, so although everything took a little longer, it came out looking perfect! She started with my eyebrows and was as gentle as possible, considering I had horribly unkempt manbrows. They're shaped great and there isn't a single hair out of place! My natural pedicure was perfectly relaxing. There was a great selection of polish to choose from. For my nails I did a gel polish, and again there were tons of colors to chose from! I know i'm a boy but I love going to Nail Perfection. The techs there are all amazing and a tip for anyone who is reading this if your first time experience wasn't so good go back for another try and get someone new because all the techs have different personality that will suit you. Like if you want someone fun choose Mike, if you want the best acrylic nails get Tom or any of the other techs but he's been there longer and plus he's the owner. But if your asking for a tech tell them what kind of personality you want and they will definitely get it for you. YES the front desk girl is kind of rude but don't let that ruin your experience!!!! If you really want to relax get a massage their massage ladies are phenomenal!! Both LIsa and Ana Lisa are the best!!!!. I know the owners and if you have any complaints that you have in mind TELL THEM and they will try their best to fix anything. NAIL PERFECTION IS THE BEST NAIL SALON IN KANSAS!!!! And yeah maybe their prices are a little higher but i'd rather go somewhere where the techs talk to me instead of talking in their own languages to one another. If you have the chance i say go there. The price here is average, same as most others ($15 for manicure, $30 for pedicure). The facility is very nice, I will give them that. It's gorgeous and very relaxing. People are nice and professional.However, the main problem here is the manicures don't last, even hardly a week. Everything else can be perfect but if the work you went to get done there in the first place isn't up to par, than it doesn't matter how pretty the facility or nice the people. The manicures and pedicures, that's the bottom line.If you don't mind going twice a week to get your manicures fixed, that's fine and this place is fine for you. If you only get pedicures, those aren't bad and last about 3weeks, so again this place would work. Or, if you are more there for the relaxation and less for the lasting manicure, than this is the place for you. Otherwise, I'd try somewhere else. Read Less

11/3/08 Owner of this Spa used to own Avalon Spa in Zona Rosa. My son saved his money forever to buy me a gift certificate for my birthday and spent $95.00 for it. I call to try to set appt and the phone just rings and rings. So, I call the Zona Rosa offices they tell me that they closed up shop there about 3 weeks ago. But gave me the name and number of Ms. Tang she owns this Nail Perfection Spa in Mission also. First time I called without even knowing why I called, they asked me to hold, which I did for 8 minutes. Hung up called back and was told too bad we don't honor that card you have to take it up with Zona Rosa or wait for the lawyers to settle things. Why is this the Shops at Zona Rosa's problem? They were not paid $95.00 Ms Tang at Avalon was. What exactly has Avalon and Ms.Tang done that requires attorney involvement? I have asked for her to return a call to me but not sure if the person who wrote down my number and name was even qualififed to get that right. Please think twice before using this business. I will be thinking about it more than twice as I call each day until I get a satisfactory resolution.
