I absolutely love coming to BQ Nails. Affordable nail salon with wonderful service. Upon walking in, there are so many different nail polishes to select from, I wonder how they can keep all those colors in stock? I would also like to say that their chairs are so comfy and the salon is kept very clean.Julie usually does my nails and has yet to disappoint me. Look no further for a funnier, more outgoing nail tech than Julie. My nails are always shiny and amazing after I leave from BQ and they stay like that for a good amount of time too! I didn't have an appt but they squeezed me in. And knowing that I wasn't planned, yet still was taken care of and not rushed at all was great. The chair massage was the best and deepest high pressure massage chair I'd even been in at a salon. The same gal who did my toes also did my nails. Both look amazing. Minus 1 star for the lack of color selection and I really hate it when there are not nail samples of gel colors. I have to open every one of them because I don't think the lids look like the finished color. It cost $65 for a mani w gel and a pedi with added sugar scrub. That's the average price I pay anywhere else i go (in Atlanta). I just hope this gel polish lasts longer than a week. Walked in wondering if I could get a polish change. They turned me down at first, which is fine. I was going to leave and they changed their mind and decided to help me. My previous polish was a dip which they were aware of because I told them. They quoted me 10$ for a polish change. The girl took off my old polish and before painting my nails decided to ring me up (so I wouldn't have wet nails paying-appreciated). She rung me up for 20$, when I asked why "because your old polish was hard to get off."  Irritated, I said-then I'm not getting my nails painted, paid 10$ for polish removal and left. No offer from technician to honor the agreed upon price, just allowed me to leave unhappy. Won't be going back, won't be recommending to others. Been going here for almost a year and this is the best place to get your nails done! Competitive prices and always willing to try new stuff. They have a great polish selection too. I have been going to BQ nails since they first opened. I use to love them and I would never go anywhere else. Recently, however, I can not say the same thing. They aren't gentle with either pedicures or manicures and there have been multiple times where they've messed up and have an attitude about fixing it. There is one older woman who does an incredible job with the manicures but otherwise I have been very disappointed. My best friend is actually changing all of our appointments for her wedding to a different salon. I hope they can improve and I can go back to enjoying it! Read Less

Awesome service. I went in for a gel mani and was seated quickly. The place was clean and staff was friendly. I had Don who was awesome and very nice. I am a little bummed that one of my designs got messed up once I made it home, but that's okay. I'm not sure how it happened Val cause they were supposed to be dry, but it's not a huge deal. I'm giving this place 2 stars based on cleanliness and customer service(overall they are nice,but the work product just doesn't hold up).I have been here on multiple occasions throughout the years when my preferred salon is busy and can't get me in.  Even though they are clean and appear higher end the quality of work is not worth the extra money.  During my last visit here 6/20 I got a pedicure and a gel manicure (French).  The pedicure was decent and is lasting as normal.  I always bring my own regular polish into the salon as I know they (all salons) typically thin out polish which leads to the product not lasting as long.  Overall my pedicure was decent, but he didn't use the cuticle oil on my toes (OK not a big deal).  Now let's go into the nail service where my largest complaint lies, it was beyond sub-par because it is not lasting.  So at this particular salon they put cuticle oil on your hands and stick them in these warm mits (which is awesome).  during this visit they only have 2 sets that are working and both were in use.  Rather than asking me if I wanted to wait to get the full service, I was given a soapy warm bowl of water to soak my cuticles in...again NO cuticle oil.  Thank goodness the dude didn't rip one on accident--I would've popped off.  I did French for my nail color (they use CND- which is typically a good brand).  I was given my hand massage prior to putting on color (in previous experience the technician does it at the end during a gel service) and it was pretty much 30 seconds o each hand (c'mon we all know this is the primary reason we like manicures).  The tech was good at asking and confirming the thickness of the lines.  He only used 1 coat of white (in previous experience I've always gotten two).  I'm not sure if this is their policy or something they do in order to get customers to return sooner? This is my biggest complaint- the French tips are already cracking and chipping (see photos).  I've never had this experience with French or gel in general after one week.  This service costs too much to have it start falling apart after 1 week ($36 for the gel manicure).
