I don't generally like to do negative reviews but I feel this needs to be shared with potential customers for this salon. I use to really like this salon but their lack of professionalism has caused them to lose a customer. I was an every two week customer for the past year and I missed one appointment time due to something far more important than my nail appointment---my family. I went in a couple weeks ago 10 minutes late for an appointment time they changed on me two hours before my appointment, when I entered the salon my nail tech Jasmine told me that she didn't have time to do my nails and eyebrows. Now, I had a long morning because my husband's grandmother had passed and we were preparing to leave town the next day, so I just got my nail fixed, eyebrows waxed and was on my way. It actually gave me time to run some last minutes errands. So fast forward to today, I placed another appointment online last night (like I usually do) and I get a call from the receptionist this morning stating that my nail tech, Jasmine (who I have been faithful to with no complaints or attitude) and her aunt, Mylan, are no longer comfortable doing my nails because I had ONE missed appointment and because Jasmine thought I had an attitude at my last appointment. Now, I was only in the shop 20-30 minutes my last visit and SHE (Jasmine) seemed very irritated but I choked it up as maybe she was having a bad day, and quietly got my nail fixed and eyebrows waxed. I walked out of the shop with no hard feelings, with the desire to return for another appointment in two weeks, as I usually do. I have been nothing but KIND to Mylan, I did miss an appointment and forgot to call but I don't think that warrants a "I am uncomfortable doing your nails" statement. I even remembered to bring in a tip for Mylan because I didn't have cash, and she can't get a tip via credit card. So, I brought the tip on my next appointment and handed it to her. Again, never had an offensive word to say, always kind and actually enjoyed my biweekly nail appointments. I think the statement was very strong and simply uncalled for...if they had a problem with my missed appointment that's could pulled me over and told me so and I would have understood and made sure to cancel my appointments going forward. The way the handled their concerns was unprofessional and not necessary for a customer they see regularly and laugh and smile with on every occasion. And then to ask me if I wanted someone else to do my nails, if I made them so uncomfortable why do you want me back in your shop...huh...NO THANKS!!! I will give another nail salon my money every two weeks. Read Less
