I decided last minute to attempt to call in and get a same day appointment. Ended up being able to get it about an hour later which was great. The man doing my nails was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. My nails could have been a little more even though and the polish is a bit raised in some spots but I'm overall pretty happy with the experience. I will probably continue to use them in the future. I just moved to Manhattan and was nervous about finding a new nail salon. I was REALLY impressed by Queen Nails. I was actually acknowledged when I walked into the salon and my appointment started right on time. The facility is very inviting and clean. The pedicure chairs are plush and appear to be fairly new. Great, in and out manicure experience. The entire manicure took right about 20 minutes, and was $15 well spent. They got me in right away on a Saturday morning, and I appreciated how quick it was, given that I was in a time crunch and trying to get to the football game. From a quality perspective, I've had more thorough manicures...for example, they didn't ask how I wanted my nails shaped at Queen's Nails. But the massage here was SO GOOD. I'm so glad I came here! The lady that owns (?) it used to work at the nail place in the mall, and she was always my favorite nail tech there. Everything here is super-clean and sanitary. I've been here 4 times now. First two times for pedicures.  Wasn't blown away but wasn't too terribly disappointed.  Came again, this time with my husband.  The girl didn't cut his toe nails nor did she give him a message as good as the lady that did mine.  Sorry honey but husband works his butt off and he was being treated after coming home from a deployment... anyways thought I would give it one more try and made an appointment for a full set.  Upon arrival I ask for ombré French to which the owner man says, " we don't do that?" To which I responded, "a nail shop that doesn't do ombré French ? You don't do nail art?" His response, " oh no it's a special powder, we don't have it" instead of arguing with him and having to them go elsewhere when, in fact I had already called several places who were booked that day, I decided to get an old fashioned French tip set.  As he is doing my nails he asked if I had been there before.  I told him I have and that I sadly will have to go elsewhere to somewhere that does the nails I want.  He then insists that they will have the "Powder" to do them very soon so I should come back.  Sorry fella.  This girl is licensed is 4 states in cosmetology.  Ombré French (while it can be done with powder) can also be achieved with nail art.  I'll go where they keep up with the trends and techniques. Walked in yesterday, everyone was friendly however busy so had to wait a while to recieve service definitely recommend making appointment it's worth it. Waiting lounge is nice & entire establishment is clean & professional looking. Love my nails! FYI: got the gel polish that changes colors when hot/cold. My favorite in town! I've had to "cheat" on them from time to time, due to availability. I'm never satisfied like I'm here! The staff always remembers you and your stories (i.e. Kids and family). My shellac always stays on for weeks and never chips. I also enjoy the time and attention they give and it's my relaxation. I came in on a Saturday and they were fairly busy. I asked for a full set, and because they had so many customers waiting they rushed through doing my nails and even though I pointed out many mistakes (which they fixed) I still left dissatisfied. My nails are nothing like a french tip. Over half my nail us white. Then the guy that did them made fun of me and my friend in English under his breath. He obviously didnt want yo be doing this job today and it showed in his work. Read Less

I can admit that I was very pleased. Immediately after entering the establishment I was impressed by the cleanliness and the ambiance. I was greeted and was rendered services within ten minutes of entering. My nail technician was very friendly and he made sure that I was okay with everything before he continued. I loved the attention that he gave to my nails and was very pleased with the finished work. After getting my nails done, I had to wait for someone to do my eyebrows. Was able to make an appt for 3 pedicures and they had the chairs ready when we got there. Did a very nice job trimming, massaging and painting. Great polish selection. I'm fussy about salons. Like them clean. Want my nails trimmed a specific length. Etc. They were very friendly and accommodating. Price $22.50 was very reasonable for a thirty minute pedi with good result. I just moved here from West Virginia and I thought by the reviews below that this was the place to go. No, no, no! For a pedicure (2) one for me and my wife and full set with ring finger designs was 81.00.  Its not the $ thats the problem its was how they were nice but acted like they didnt want to touch our feet. Asked for my heel to be scrubbed more, and the  person stated " no they are soft". My full set acrylic is chipping and crooked! Im in search for another place to call home every 2 weeks this is not the place! Read Less

I have been going to Queen Nails for a few years and have had a wonderful experience each time. Angel does a super job! The service is outstanding and my pedicures, manicures and brows have always looked great. There is easy access to the shop and always plenty of parking. The atmosphere is relaxing, the shop is clean and the pedicure chairs are large and very comfortable. I highly recommend this business. Read Less

I just moved here from Hawaii, so I had to start all over again in finding a new nail place. This was my first stop. I initially came in once, and it was super busy. So I came back the next day, and I'm happy I did. The place is very spacious and very clean. Which is rare to find in a nail place. They had a HUGE selection of Gelish polish, which honestly is very important to me. I asked for a Gelish polish manicure and she just changed the polish. No manicure. Which normally would upset me but she charged me accordingly. I would have been really pissed if she had charged me for services I didn't receive. So next time I go back I'll be very clear in what I want and I'll probably make an appointment. Read Less

This was an adequate experience. I would say I got treated better than those customers before me. The owner was doing a lady's nails as I walked in and he stopped, at least 3-4 times with her nails to answer phones/handle walk ins/etc. I only had to wait about 15-20 minutes to get a walk-in spot (not bad), but they turned a lot of business away. They should hire a receptionist and more staff in order to deal with the heavy traffic. I got acrylic nails and am satisfied with the way they look. They're very cheap, too. $31 for a full set of french tip, where as many places charge $43+ and only $17 to refill where normally places are $5 per nail. I'd go back. Read Less

HORRIBLE!! It deserves NEGATIVE STAR(s)!! I will NEVER go back. The owner Lin did my nails and they were awful!! I said i didn't like them all he kept saying was why they look good ummm no they sure don't he kept arguing with me. Then he wouldn't even put another set on. He kept saying he didn't have time. Doesn't even rate ONE star!! TERRIBLE service and performance!! Twice I've had my polish from my pedi come off BEFOrE I got home!! Went back to get a refund- even offered to BUY a bottle of polish after the refund or asked for the bottle FREE- was laughed at by the owner! I will NEVER go here again- second time my polish on my pedi has come off! NO REFUND- and was told it was my fault! First time happened w/ my friend Sara and it happened to the BOTH of us!! I told them they would either give me a portion of my $ back- I would PAY for a bottle of polish- or they give me the polish free. Third option I told him was tht I would leave unhappy and TELL EVERYONE I know about this experience. Guess which he opted for? NEVER again!!I will continue to go to California Nails!!
