I have weak and flimsy nails, which is why I always get shellac, I try to get my nails done every two or three weeks. While on vacation, on July 12th, it was time to have my nails done again. I had a wonderful experience. The young lady was friendly and talk with me. I went back on July 26th, they were a little busy, but not swamped. The girl seem under pressure and rushed. She tore through my nails with the power tool, literally, I didn't notice it at the time she cracked one below the quick, she covered it up with a top coat. She didn't even give me the nice hand massage normally given at the end. Two days later I had to go to my regular nail salon, in my home town, to have them fixed, and it cost me a lot to keep my nails. Just be careful at this salon. Read Less

Apparently, this business doesn't want business, especially not possible repeat business. Three times I tried to go in and get my nails done. Twice, I was very rudely told, "I'd you want service, you must wait at least an hour." Today, I was told, "It's your own fault for being a bad customer and not making an appointment." Okay. Never will I come here again. I keep my nails pretty short so anytime I get a fill they have to be filed down. I have been to 4 different salons in Manhattan and never been charged for a 'cut down' when getting my fill. On top of that my nails are crooked and it has been less then 24 hours and already two have broken from them separating from my real nail. Read Less

Their prices are very fair, and even when they got busy my nail tech still took her time, I called about an hour ahead to get a spot and they saw me on time. My complaint is I got regular polish on top of my acrylic and it took a long time to dry and there's bubbles in 2 nails, one dried weird, and one has a dent that happened 2 hrs after I left the salon, so I would not recommend getting regular polish done here. I LOVE Da Vi Nails the whole staff is amazing and friendly, I always had Hua do my nails and he would always find a way to squeeze me in their busy schedule. It gets pretty full on the weekends so it's best to make an appointment. Even after a few weeks of not going in for a fill my nails would never lift. Their prices are unbeatable! Read Less

I will never recommend or come back to da vi nails. I asked for a design from the design strips with minor variations. They only had one lady in there doing designs. The design I asked for was a flower but I wanted more/longer pedals to accommodate my big toe. She did not understand me and they began to talk about me in their language. I asked her for the design strips to find a different design and she told me find something on the internet. This did not make any sense, since she could not get the first design I choose from their designs.Read Less

I had made a reservation for three of us a week in advance. When I arrived I told them I had an appointment but everyone was busy. We sat for 10 minutes before anyone said anything to us. When they did they asked what time my appointment was scheduled for and how many people. I said 1:30 (It was 1:45 by now) and for three people. The guy was shocked because again all of the employers were busy. I said I had made an appointment and the man look bewildered. He told us he could only do a set of nails one at a time.
