I will start by saying Sarah gave me a great haircut. I am happy with the skill and service. However, I was lured here due to a Groupon that proved to be completely pointless. The cover of the Groupon says "Haircut and Highlight Packages" like all the other haircut and highlight packages for local salons (each including a CUT and highlight). I had originally scheduled with a different place, but went with Salon Berget instead. I go sit in the chair and I am telling her the kind of highlight and hair cut I am looking for and I am told, oh, actually, this Groupon is only for a shampoo, style, blow dry and partial highlight- no cut. I thought about walking out because the whole point of paying for the $65 Groupon was to get a haircut with partial highlights at a discount. But I had already driven 30 minutes to get here and I needed a cut. So I just added on the cut which is an additional $43. Total cost= 108. Their regular priced partial highlight is $111 and includes a HAIRCUT and style. So I bought a Groupon for absolutely no reason other than to be tricked into driving far out of my way to pay full price for their honestly overpriced services. I find it shady and dishonest for this business to be advertising this way. Everyone was nice and it is a clean salon with great stylists. But I could have gotten the same services for cheaper closer to home- and without the alleged discount. Read Less

Salon Burgét is a small, wonderful salon. I've been having Mary do my hair for the last few years and she is just amazing. It's a really great feeling to know your hairstylist pays attention and will make suggestions for your hair based on you, not just trying to sell products. Mary did an amazing job with my color and cut!! I took in a lot of photos and Mary took the time to really listen to what I was wanting but also what I didn't want. I didn't want color to damage my hair and I didn't want someone to tell me that they could achieve the colors I was looking at and then not deliver. Mary was honest about what I wanted with my hair and we talked about how to achieve what I was looking for. She kept my hair looking and feeling super healthy and I love how the color turned out!! Avoid this Salon!! The only reason I gave one star is because I had no choice to give "0". I am so disappointed, I don't know where to start! I should have left when I saw a man request the same haircut he got last time but he wanted his side burns shorter & had a couple other requests. The "manager" of the "Salon" Shelly who was cutting his hair rolled her eyes & made faces behind his back because he requested some tweaking of his hair cut. I found this to be Very Unprofessional! I soon realized after getting my hair cut by Abagail that, it does NOT matter what haircut or style you request because you are NOT going to get what you ask for. I specifically asked for ( NO Layereing or Point cutting) I requested a blunt cut because the layering  & point cutting thin my hair out on the ends and I told Abagail Specificaly "NOT" to layer or point cut for that reason. Well she decided she wanted to point cut anyway:( My hair is uneven in the front & I have short pieces of hair that make no rhyme or reason and the front of my hair has been thinned out terribly, I just want to cry, it's going to take some time for this mess to grow out! After going home & seeing what she did to my hair I didn't realize how bad it really was. I called the Salon the next day & spoke to the manager Shelly, who did not apologize or say come back in & we will see what we can do to fix your hair. Shelly was extremely rude & yelled at me for not saying anything the prior day. I am not writing this review to be mean and did not ask for my money back! It's the "principal" that I was treated with such disrespect! My hair will grow out, but I cannot except the way that I was treated nor will I EVER go back! This "salon" doesn't even deserve one star. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a salon! My mother and I had back-to-back appointments with Abigail at this salon. I asked for 1/2 inch off and a blunt (straight across) cut. I did not want any layers, face framing or point cutting. She ended up cutting around 3 inches off, face framing and point cutting the ends of my hair. The point cutting completely thinned out the ends of my hair, which is the exact opposite of what I had wanted. When my mother arrived at the salon, she asked me if I was getting a blunt cut. I responded with, "That's what I asked for. Is that not what I'm getting?" Abigail said nothing and continued cutting. I didn't realize how bad my haircut was until I left the salon. My mother then had her appointment. She asked for the EXACT same thing as me. Abigail then told her she was going to cut off 6 inches of her hair. Knowing this is not what my mother wanted, I told her to trim 1/2 an inch and blunt cut it. She proceeded to point cut and frame her face, as well as cut off around 2 inches of length. As soon as I walked out of the salon, I began crying because I knew she had messed up my hair. I went home and looked at it and it was worse than I had even realized. I went to another salon to have this fixed because I did not trust anyone at Salon Burget to fix my hair. The stylist at the second salon handed me a mirror and told me to look at the back of my hair because she wanted to point out what Abigail had done and make me aware that she was not the one that did this to my hair. The left and right side of my hair was a solid 4 inches shorter than the rest of my hair and the left side was much shorter than the right. I was appalled at what I saw. In order to completely fix what Abigail had done, I would have had to cut off a significant amount of hair. Now I am left with a botched haircut and I have to let it grow out and continue to trim it until it is fixed. Not only were my mother and I left with a botched haircut, but when I called the salon to complain the very next morning, we were in for an even bigger surprise. I spoke with Shelly who claims she is a manager at the salon. I explained all of this to her and she began telling me that I should have had someone else in the salon fix our haircuts yesterday. I explained to her that we were put in a very awkward position and we did not know how bad the cut was until we left and we were able to look at it more. This conversation escalated very quickly. Shelly extremely rude and basically told me there was nothing they could do to fix this situation. I then asked for a refund. She stated that they do not give refunds and did not even offer to fix our haircuts because we did not say something yesterday. I then referred to the salons website which states: "100% guarantee. We want you to be super happy with our work and everything we do or we will touch it up for free.  No hard feelings.  If your still not thrilled you can have your money back no questions asked.  We stand behind our work." I told Shelly that it states they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee on their website. She continued to argue with me, told me I was ridiculous and that this was a scam. She then proceeded to hang up on me. My mother then decided to call. Shelly answered the phone and did not let my mother speak with the salon owner, Holly Burget. My mom then tries to explain the situation and Shelly continued to interrupt her, she raised her voice and began yelling at my mother. She then put her on hold to speak with the owner. She got back on the phone and continued to yell and threatened to call the police if we were to come to the salon. I am completely disheartened that a business would treat its consumers in this manner. My mother and I even debated calling the salon to complain, and the only reason why we decided to do so was so that this would not happen to someone else. The way Shelly and Holly handled this situation was completely unacceptable! I WOULD NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING TO THIS "SALON!!!" Read Less

Megan is simply the best. I have difficult hair, several stylists in my past just didn't know what to do with my hair. She has had a few of the hair dresser's do her hair but her favorite was Eryn. So, I called Salon Buget and made a hair appointment with Eryn. I arrived and everyone there was so friendly.
