They really need to watch it when filing and cuting. She literally left cuts on 4 of my fingers, that are very deep cuts and they still hurt really bad. My cousin got hers done at the same time and had multiple cuts as well, that definitely shouldn’t happen. Read Less

Jenny and the girls have always been friendly and expedient when I go to LV and I am almost always a 'walk-in'. If I decide to go in as a 'walk-in' client, I go right when they open on Saturday morning.  I certainly never assume that I will be helped upon immediately walking in at any time after 9:30 a.m. on a weekend- unless I have an appointment. This type of business thrives on walk-ins. Also, I have always understood Sundays to be by 'appointment only', so I have never gone in on a Sunday.  I decided to start going to LV when one day I walked into a nail salon (also in Derby) and was told flat out they did not have anyone who would do an eyebrow wax. I took my business elsewhere (to LV Nails) and I have never been turned down for service since. Read Less

I went in being up front about my time limitations. I know how long a pedicure takes and they estimated a 10 minute wait which was the most I could afford to initiate the beginning of service. I reassured them if they didn't have time I could come back a different day. After 15 minutes I was put in a chair to soak. 25 minutes later they finally started on my feet. I was livid as I had told them I had a family event and I was put into water to hold me there. I kept trying to ask when I could be started and they kept saying one more minute. A 40 minute wait is NOWHERE close to what I was told even if the girl  who did my feet was very kind. Be up front and don't just be about locking down the next service. I won't be back. Read Less

I've been getting my nails done for 4 years and the nail place I went to before got all new staff that were rude and constantly tried to screw people over on prices. I had a really hard time finding a new place but I randomly found this place and I absolutely loved it!!! Excellent customer service, great prices and they did an awesome job and exactly what I wanted. I also had my daughter with me and they made sure to entertain her while her nails dried. When I have appointment they take forever usually 30 minutes after I arrive to get started. Eating hanging out In The back room ect. They never do what I want they always have to restart. They charge for things that I didn't get done which I have to argue every time I'm not against the prices but if I didn't get a design I'm not paying for it. They are rude. Also always making my fingers bleed. I'm not sensitive I have very well used hands and it irritating that no I ther place will make me bleed except this place does never fails. I have gone 4 times hoping I'll find one I like but it hasn't happened. So needless to say I will not return or recommend to anyone! Read Less

The place is clean. My hangup is customer service. I have anxiety going to these places, restaurants, etc. I asked for a long nail. The technician cut mine super short and I was scared to tell her to start over. I finally worked up the courage to say something and she got really annoyed, said she had to pick up her kid soon and she didn't have time to start over, but I stood my ground. She could have easily passed me on to a different tech. On top of that she then charged me extra for a full set removal..... wasn't a full set. Needless to say I go to Venetian now. This place is awesome. The staff is very warm and friendly. The first time I came in, I had a really specific design in mind, and the nail tech took the time to plot it out with me first, then paused several times during the painting to ask if I was happy with how it looked.Today, I brought my teenage daughters, who got manis while I got shellac. Both of the techs working with my kids were super patient. The girls were able to get the little unique designs they picked out online (kitty and alien) and their nails are so cute.My nails are gorgeous. LV has the biggest selection of colors I've seen in Derby. They even have powder colors and loose glitter. And my nail tech was a very nice, laid back person, so it felt more like a luxury experience, rather than another chore to check off my list.Super happy. Will be back! Read Less

Decided to treat myself to an ever so rare manicure and chose LV Nails of Derby. Chose 5 shellac colors for Fifty Shades theme without any decals or artwork etc just straight polish. Their sign said $15 for classic and $20 for special. They charged me THIRTY dollars!!!I will NEVER go back and will tell anyone to stay away. Let's just pray it lasts TWO weeks as stated for that price. Read Less

The people here are super friendly and are willimg to try anything. I always bring in different designs that I'm sure they've never done before and they get them almost perfectly every time. The pedicures are great. I leave them tips every time I go. They're awesome Read Less
