I am always amazed and extremely satisfied with the quality of work that goes into my challenging nail designs. If I could nit give a star I would this was one of the worst places ever the first lady didn't listen to what I wanted then got mad because I didn't like what she did so she got another lady to finish and the one thing I said I didn't want the most was for my nails to look wide and that's exactly what they looked like and so she started fileing and I told her to stop that she was making my cuticles sore and they still looked awful so she got mad because I told her I wanted her to just stop and take them off and she was trying to charge me for it ughhh if you don't know what your doing then dont do it..... They do a really good job on the pedicure. I was kind of frustrated that they did not have a menu type of paamplet that listed products with prices. When I asked what a product was we had trouble understanding eachother. She also did my message on my legs with the abrasive stuff which was pretty uncomfortable. I did not feel relaxed when I left like I usually do when I get a pedicure.Read Less

Been here twice now because i had coupons for 20% any service. My first time here I got a pedicure and my nails filled. My pedicure lasted around an hour and the lady took her time and my toes looked the best they ever had. But getting my nails filled took 2 hours.. I was late to work because of it. I didn't need my nails filed 6 times. Still decided to come back again today to get a pedicure with another 20% off coupon because I love coupons. The girl didn't know how to work the pedicure tub and didn't even know she was supposed to turn the water off. took 10 minutes with the water almost overflowing to figure out how to drain the water... that made me nervous at first. Pedicure was good though, wasn't sure if she knew exactly what she was doing at some points. Most likely will just go back to my favorite place Diva Nails across the street. If you're in the Derby area, you have to come here! They've been around for years and have some of the best service I've come across. I've gone to them for the last 12 years and have never been dissatisfied. Also, they have the nail powder dip for manicures for the cheapest I've come across. Don't even know where to begin....Every person who works here (with the exception of the BAREFOOTED pedicure tech) was obsessed with their phones. I sat next to a lady getting her nails done and the tech would look over at her phone as she was grinding away with the drill! She put the white tips halfway up this woman's nails so she barely had any pink nail bed at all....that wasn't a smile line, that was a frown! The nails were thick as heck and the tech kept saying, "Pretty! Pretty!" to her customer like she was trying to convince her. No way would I have tolerated what that lady did.  The ENTIRE TIME I sat there, the front desk girl answered her own iPhone (I assume from the ring that's identical to mine) more times than she did the front desk phone. My tech clipped my nails WAY too short, she nabbed some of my fingertip with the clippers. She pulled them out of a drawer, did not sanitize them, and put them back in the drawer without sanitizing them after she snipped skin on me. She was way too aggressive with taking down the surface of my nails---you remove the shine, not the entire nail bed!! The tips were too wide for my nails, the acrylic was too thick....I told her they were thick but she didn't make any effort to remove any. When she had me wash up after applying the acrylic, there was only one brush at the sink for everyone to use. No sanitizer, NO HAND SOAP,  no dirty brush bin.....EW!!!! I think the sanitation issue at this salon is pretty egregious. I had already decided that this was going to be my last visit at this point, because it was pretty hard to believe. To solidify my decision never to go back, my nails started popping off just a few days later. I ended up going to a salon on South Seneca and the man there spent an hour taking down these hideous chunks of BLOCKS that were attached to my nails. Not even at the mall have I gotten such a crappy adhesion............won't be back, won't ever recommend them.   I noticed that most of their customers this day (a Saturday) were much older ladies, maybe all they get are basic manicures that can't really be messed up. The shop was very clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were able to accept my walk-in with no trouble and got me taken care of very quickly. The workmanship was amazing. My nails held up great and when I went back to get them filled they looked wonderful. Although all the ladies were nice, I was able to sit with Annie and Ling, so they are my first choice for referrals. Read Less
