I love going to get my nails done at this shop! My experience was amazing! Employees are very nice amd cater to your needs! They offer free massages with your manicure or pedicure! They also offer snacks and beverages while you are there. This is an all around great place to go and their prices are cheep compared to most places! The reason why I did not give them five stars is because the man who did my nails did not pay attention to specific details and left smudges of nail polish on my fingers, I had to go home and remove it with nail polish remover myself!, it just depends on who is doing your nails, but overall a great place to go! I love this place after moving to bay view a year ago I decided to get my nails done there and I don’t regret it. It’s the only salon that gets my acrylics nails right! No lifting, I can go about 3 weeks without a fill but usually go in every 2 weeks. The nail techs are always aiming to please you. They also get my nail shape correctly, just like I want it. I've been a customer here for years and I've never had a bad experience. I read these negative reviews and wonder if these people are frequenting the same place I am. In the beginning, you could walk into this salon and be taken care of without having an appointment.....I used to do it all the time. Over time, Sonny and Tracy have built this successful business into one that now suggests an appointment be made for immediate service. I don't think they could've done that by pr...oviding poor service to their customers. They are always fair with their customers and don't give them over inflated wait times as I've heard other salons do. I would definitely recommend this salon (and making an appointment first) for nail or waxing services. If it's any testament to my loyalty, I moved a half hour away from this salon over a year ago and I still drive there every two weeks to get my nails done..... Very disappointed in Ellie Nail spa: called at 1240, told to come in at 130pm for a mani&pedi. Arrived at 125, sat til 150 until I was taken to a pedi chair. Waited for over 10 min with my feet soaking until a few minutes ago when someone who came in 20 min after me was brought over and started getting her pedicure right away. I understand they are busy but when I call, wait past the time I was told to come in and someone else is taken care of before me...that's horrible customer service. I used to get my nails done ALL the time (manicure/pedicure). I had a great relationship with my previous technician, until he decided to be shady money and business wise. It left a really sour taste in my mouth for a long time. I've been looking for a salon that I can trust and be comfortable in (FOR OVER 5 YEARS!), and I'm so glad that I went here! A friend of mine was looking for a salon and I saw someone recommend this place to her. It's closer to home than the mall, and... I absolutely love the way Darlene did my manicure and pedicure!!! Usually go here but the service has gone down hill. They rush through the services and the owner who did my moms nails was rude the whole time and made her bleed and called her a cry baby for telling him it hurt. Her nails are uneven and he just went ahead and did shellac when we asked for a regular set. If you go here be careful as they try to overcharge you and rush through the services. I would recommend ALL ABOUT NAILS which is 2 mins down the street they are more professional and don't make you feel like a burden. Read Less

I have to say I was very disappointed lastnight when I went in for a gel fill. It was 6:40, and the awesome lady that usually is in charge, wasn't there. I asked for a fill, and the younger lady asked if I had an appointment. When I said no, she very quickly dismissed me, saying we can't fill your nails tonight. There wasn't anyone waiting in the chairs by the entrance. I totally understand that sometimes they are too full, I guess it was her attitude and tone of voice. I go there all the time, and get pedicures and have my eyebrows waxed. Just recently had a full set of gel nails done. I truly don't know if I'll go back!! This place is awesome. I booked manicures and pedicures for myself and 5 other ladies the Friday before my wedding. Ellie Nails went above and beyond to make our spa experience wonderful. The staff made sure we all were able to sit next to each other and they were constantly checking in to make sure we were having a nice time. No stars!!!I went to Pro Nails to see if they could apply one press on.  I broke a nail.  I explained that my nails are real and it took me forever to grow them out the same length.  I didn't want my nail sanded down just want a glued nail for my upcoming  event.  They were beyond RUDE not only did they tell me to go to sally's they didn't offer to paint my nails.  CRS crappy, rude, service..... If I could I'd load them and ship them back to the rude planet they came from.  I wouldn't go back if they offered to do my nails for free! Read Less
