I go to Fancy Nails every 2 weeks for a pedicure and I am always happy with the service. The massage chairs are clean and comfortable. The leg and foot massage is long and relaxing. The owners are kind, caring, and upbeat. Ive never had a bad experience, besides the few times I've had to listen to rude, entitled West Des Moines women treat the workers like garbage. Read Less

Called and made and appointment so they wouldn't be rushed. My shellac was extremely bubbly and poorly done chipped within the hour! They wouldn't let me leave my hand under the lamp for the full cycle they were to rushed. They also lie about there pricing will tell you one thing but than charge for the other!! Read Less

I stopped in on a whim to try this place out as it's located next to my tanning salon and my nails were in pathetic shape. It was able to get in immediately and the gentleman who did my manicure did a great job - he was meticulous and I had a great arm/hand massage. I opted for non-shellac as I'm trying to give my nails a break - the owner (I believe) asked me why I didn't want shellac and I told her the above reason, and rather than pressing me, she only stated that shellac would last longer (which I am aware).The salon was clean and bright with relaxing spa music playing. My only disappointment is that the prices were not posted - I assumed they'd be priced similar as other salons, which they were but that would be my only suggestion. Read Less

They're really rough. The lady doing my nails made two fingers bleed. I asked for a Christmas tree design... And it doesn't really look like a tree. More like a whimsical bright green blob. Anyway, won't be coming back.Read Less

Worst gel manicure in town!!! Chipped after 3 days!!!! I have never had a gel manicure hurt or feel tight before. The light hurt and the nails shrunk afterwards. I expressed my concern to the man who did them and all he kept saying is "normal". There was a huge language barrier, to the point where he could not answer questions about his service. When the pain tight feeling went away after a few days, the polish started chipping. I have never had a gel manicure chip before from any other salons in town - especially only after 3 days!!!!Read Less

Three of us went for manis and pedis. My nails turned out great as did another girl. But the third one turned out pathetic. She ended up having to file them down and reshape them. The leg massages were nice. They were very friendly but had a very hard time understanding what we wanted.
