Thought we were going to have a nice relaxing day. We scheduled an appointment, showed up and waited 1 hour before they even started on ours. We thought it would be nice to sit by each other, obviously, but were all separated! They started on one of ours and finished on it before even starting the rest of the groups. Their little kid was running around, screaming, crying, and throwing polish on the floor while they did not do a one thing about it! Once the seats got cleared out a bit, we asked to all sit by each other and two of them started screaming and fighting at each other. They finally let us move but we’re not pleasant about it whatsoever! We finally got finished and ready to pay. We got to the front and one gentlemen gave us our bill. She came over, confronted him about his mess up. By now, they were fighting again and the lady yanked on this guys arm and slapped him. We will never be going back here again. And to add to this, the quality of the work they did was not good especially for the price it was which they ended up charging us the wrong amounts for our nails anyways. Read Less

I thought that this would be a relaxing experience, but I guess I was wrong. We had an appointment booked, showed up on time and waited an hour to even be helped. They fought the whole time and were yelling at each other, which was not one bit relaxing! We go to pay and they were fighting over what we should pay, we all got the same package, but one pedicure costed $25, one was $30 and the last $35. Jimmy’s wife gave me a manicure and I told her my polish didn’t cover all of my nail on 3 of my fingers. She (and Jimmy, who was sitting next to us) that she wasn’t done and “they would make them beautiful.” Well, they didn’t. When I tried to explain, she left and Jimmy wouldn’t let me talk. Clean, very nice atmosphere. Everyone has fun there. They do a great job delivering what you ask. Jimmy does amazing designs. Mya is always creative and does fabulous work. I highly recommend. Also suggest if you need your nails done on a Saturday or Friday evening. Call ahead of time. Good nails makes them popular. You could have to wait a while. Read Less

Pedicures are ok here. Soaking my feet in cold water I wasn’t a fan of. Lady pulling my leg when I have weakness on my left leg wasn’t a fan of. She let the machine run up my toe. It cut it! Manicures are terrible! They always cut my cuticles and make them bleed. Once they burnt my nail with the machine. Don’t get a manicure here. Read Less

Jimmys used to be the place to go in Waverly but not anymore. I just got a manicure today and was very disappointed. The man never asked if we wanted anything to drink, he did not wear gloves or a mask, he used the same fingernail file on me and my friend without disinfecting it, he made lots of polish mistakes and had to use lots of remover. When we went to let them dry at the machine, we witnessed him smoking out front of the salon! The counter was dirty and there was pen marks on the chairs and woodwork. I love going to Jimmys nails. I have gone to him for a lot of years. Whenever he moved shops, i followed him. He is the only one that I trust to do my nails. He knows exactly how I like them done. I would and do recommend him to whoever compliments on nice my nails look. Read Less

I usually am a big fan of Jimmy's Nail Salon but the last few times I have been there have not been positive experiences. I had the same gentleman the last few times and he is more interested in entertaining than giving customers a positive, relaxing experience and doing a decent job on nails. If I could post pictures of the "French manicure" I got done last night I would. Instead of soaking off my last manicure, the girl working sanded it off. More than once I had to pull my hand back. Very painful. The manicure itself is uneven, the lines are wavy, and there are marks and bubbles everywhere. I have never personally had a great experience here, but this was the worst. Just a quick tip for the nice guy that did my pedicure today. People get pedicures to relax and be pampered. We do not want to talk politics, which you did a lot..or hear you sing or dance. I also thought it was pretty rude for you to say to be sure about my color choice because you aren't going to redo it because it wastes your time and mine and you know how ladies are. I have been here a couple times... first time excellent service and an amazing pedicure... however tonight when I walked in I was greeted wth a gentleman throwing something across the mail room.. finally I am spoke to and told to have a seat and wait... waited 20 minutes and finally walked out when one of the nail techs walked out and said no more we are closed... sign says 8:00pm.. Jimmy and his employees do AMAZING work! Just make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to enjoy the entire experience. I would recommend telling them if you are in a hurry to make sure you're not left with a time crunch. Got a manicure and shellac done.  The tech did a really nice job. Price is equal to other places. Only down side the staff were constantly talking to eachother and not really the clients and laughing etc and makes you feel a little uncomfortable that they are talking about you. Read Less
