After dropping over $110 on Mommy-n-Me mani/pedis (my daughter just got nail polish even though I told them I wanted her to have a full mani) My pink & white dip wasn't even and the white went too far into my nail bed. I have been to a variety of different nail salons in the area throughout the years and CQ had been the one that I suddenly kept going back to for my nails. I've had a number of different services done by various nail artists and overall, my experiences have been incredibly positive! Anytime that there was a slight glitch or issue, CQ was more than helpful and willing to remedy the situation. However, I cannot even remember the last time I had a less than desirable experience! Will NEVER be back! Made an apt over a week ago for 4 people including my two girls who this would be their first manicure. Got there and were rudely yelled at to pick a polish. They came one by one and took us to a chair my girls were separated and if not for my friend and I just taking chairs next to the girls they would have been sitting alone the whole time. When someone was finally able to get to my manicure I was asked more then once about who was paying and how I was paying if I wanted a pedicure and if I was going to get my eyebrows done! 20 minutes later someone finally got to my friends manicure but by then my girls were long done bored and had ruined 2 nails already. Extremely disappointed and frankly feel like I wasted my money. My nails still have polish on my skin my friends nails were only half cut and her polish isn't covering her whole nail! Save your time and money do not come here!!!! They have completely destroyed my girls love for wanting to get their nails done again!!! Read Less

I had two appointments scheduled prior to walking in and giving CQ Nails a chance, I'm so glad I did! My nail tech "Sam" was not only friendly but was not at all bothered by my questions and wants of what I wanted and helped me get exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere was very friendly and the salon so clean; the receptionist was very attentive in greeting and attending not only to my needs but the many needs of other customers around her. I highly recommend coming here to anyone who is looking for quality with affordable pricing and unlimited options with the talent here.The level of customer service from all the staff and the beautiful work Sam providing today for me has made me a loyal customer. Worst experience! Very rude! Didn’t listen to what I wanted. I was in town for the holidays and wanted to get my nails done so my engagement ring could get fitted. I got tips put on and lady tired cutting them down short I asked for longer then she moved up slightly and cut it there without making sure that’s what I wanted. (I wanted them long but decided to let it go.) she asked if I wanted them square and I said yeah but not to shap on the edges so she gave me a circle shape. And when I told her that I wanted it more square she acted like I was a burden on her. She mad all my other nails way worse and not at all what I wanted after I told her 3 times what I wanted. She then pulled my hand knocking over the finger nail polish then yelled at me. Seriously the worst experience I have ever had. Read Less

I wasn't even greeted by the receptionist. Her greeting as she looked at me was walk in for eyebrows. I said no. Her response was what are you here for then, and I told her. She has terrible customer service skills. Then I specifically asked the technician not to file the shape or length of my nails and she proceeded to file them down anyways with an aggressive nail file. I left with shellac on my cuticle and had to file the ends of my nails when I got home because they were never filed with a softer grit nail file. This place also doesn't take tip on credit card and does not say so anywhere on their Facebook or website. I gave a longer review on facebook so I'll keep it short and sweet here. Pros: Clean, well-ventilated space with beautiful decor and top-notch equipment. Cons: Customer Service is VERY Poor as is their work. - Quality of their pedicures is very poor (For starters: my first pedicure with them was so crooked, none of my toes matched in the direction they were cut in. Secondly, on my manicure they cut my skin so bad I bled in multiple places. I'm not sensitive to pain, nor am I new to salons. I frequent them and have NEVER bled after a cuticle cut in my life!) - They are overpriced compared to other local salons - you can get better service for better prices. - The manicurists are not personable - nor do they talk to you and they only accept cash for tips. The second part is not a deal-breaker, but is inconvenient. The first part is rather alarming. Both times I've attended the salon my rep wouldn't even talk to me! It is very strange for the service industry. TL:DR. Worst salon experiences I've had. I've left the salon twice, being completely unsatisfied and surprised both times. It won't happen again. Plusses : beautiful nail design Gorgeous facility But not one member of the staff had a smile on their face whatsoever! A smile goes a long way in any business but they seemed rushed, they seemed unhappy ,and they seemed overworked and overwhelmed!
