I haven’t had a service there yet but when I stopped in to have a pedicure, I ended up leaving 10 minutes later while waiting. It’s a humid day and they either don’t have AC or it was broken, and it was incredibly uncomfortable and muggy. This was my second time getting my nails done here. Hugo did an amazing job on my nails. He shaped them so beautifully and my dip powder came out so pretty. I went to a different nail salon last time and it was horrible. I have tried other nail salons in the area, and Nail Art is hands down the best. I get my acrilics done here and they often last 3+ weeks. They are very detail oriented and will give you a high quality manicure. The wait can sometimes be very long because they are so busy but it is worth it. Read Less

This place was awful. I waited with my feet soaking for over in hour (in cold water) before being helped. There were two people who came in after me that were helped a good 45 minutes before me (they didn't have an appointment) as I sat there awkwardly waiting. After finally being helped I was given the shortest, sloppiest pedicure of my life - lasted less than 15 minutes (not including the nail polish - that took longer than the rest of the pedicure even though I had no design or anything special).I've heard really good things about this place so was excited to give it a try. Today was my first time at nail art. I went between noon and 1. Not a very busy time but I had great service. I can understand that perhaps when you arrive at a busy time like other posts say they don't receive the quickest of service and that is expected. No one person wants to receive rushed service when there are others waiting. I felt like they listened to what I wanted and did a great job giving me the attention I was looking for during my visit. I rate them as a 2/3 because of their service and not the quality of their work which is pretty great. Whenever I come, I ask if there's a wait and I'm always told no and to take a seat. After 40 minutes of sitting in the pedicure chair with my feet turned to prunes , I still haven't been approached or even asked if I'd like something to drink. All nail shops get busy and thats expected but I'm shocked to see the number of people sitting in salon chairs and not being worked on. Also the pace of everything is just slower than most shops. I'd expect them to pick up the pace when it's busy but they don't. So come and expect good quality but expect to be here for HOURS even if you have an "appointment" If you need to be somewhere relatively soon , go downtown to Elite Nails. Read Less

I recently moved back to North Liberty & it is much more convenient for me to get my nails done around here rather than traveling back to Iowa City. I decided to give Nail Art a try and I don't regret it. Very professional & friendly! Also took very good care of me and my nails. My service provider was so gentle with the tools and my hands. This place has some of the worst service I've experienced. I have frequented nail art for the past couple of years because it's convenient, and close to home, and because I value those things over service for a routine mani/pedi. However, my experience with my bridal party this summer was atrocious. I booked an appointment 3 months in advance for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom. At the time of booking they said there were no other appointments for that day. I called a week before to verify that they still had us on the schedule and verify the number and services. I also spoke to the woman about our time frame and asked to make sure our appointment would allow enough time to be done when we needed to be. She said it was no problem. When we arrived we found that in the meantime they had booked a bridal party of 11 for only one hour before us. Not only that, but they were still accepting walk-ins.  We sat and waited for 45 minutes before they even started with anyone in our party, while watching walk-ins slide in ahead of us. It seemed they already knew they had our business and that we had to stay and took advantage of that to work in more business at our expense.  One bridesmaid sat waiting until all of us were finished after I told 3 different people she was part of our reservation and to please start on her next and then watched each of those people proceed to start on another walk-in instead. The product is average at best and this is a fine place to go if you just need a quick mani or pedi, but if you need something special go elsewhere for sure. Read Less

This place gets 3 stars for service not quality. My nails always look nice (not excellenct) when I leave. But today was it. I understand if it's busy your in a rush. But not every time. When I go in and they don't ask me if I want a drink and others get asked I don't like that, I have only been asked as an after thought when they got everyone else drinks and was like oh yea are you thirsty?  I don't get asked if I want a different treatment they give me the most basic of the basic others get asked.  I look forward to my nail appointments and being pampered. I don't mind paying extra for good service.  I'm not expecting super spa treatment but treat everyone the same.   Ask if people want additional services or longer foot massage.  I think a lot of the employees are nice and. Hardworking but the owners are pushing you through and I don't like that. Read Less

Just ran in for a quick shellac polish change because it was close to my work and was very impressed!  It is now exactly 2 weeks out and they look like they were just done! No peeling, no chipping, you'd think they were just done if my nails hadn't grown out.  As a hairstylist I'm very hard on my nails and often have them in water but as of right now I don't see having to have them redone for a while.  I've never had shellac last this long and I'm very impressed. I typically go to salons to get pedicures but on a whim, I decided to stop in to Nail Art for one. Everyone was super friendly and someone seated me right away after I selected my polish. It was my first pedicure since the winter and the woman was great at trimming my cuticles and exfoliating my feet. She put the gel polish on perfectly and it still looks great a couple weeks later. I show up ask for eyebrow waxing, just to clean up messy manbrows. I wasn't asking for anything crazy like make my ugly mug look like Brad Pitt or David Beckham so I figured I'd be out in 15 minutes like at other places. I get an employee who looks like she was in need of waxing herself. Goes to apply the wax on my eyebrows  and I expect warm to hot type of wax. It was SCOLDING. I didn't think she'd try to burn my damn eyebrows off. After telling her the wax was too hot, she began to blow air and probably blew spit onto the damn stick (I would imagine it's against health code) she was hesitant to apply it afterwards and had to do the same area 4 times. Needless to say, my damn eyebrows were irritated and made me look like I got through boxing w Mike Tyson. Plenty pissed. Won't return if they paid me. The reviews before look good for nails but as far as waxing goes, STAY AWAY, you're better off using a flame thrower on your face. Read Less

Men it's still summer, get your feet and hand game up. Really clean place. Even though you may be the only guy there, they don't make you feel out of place. Reasonable pricing and it's something you and the lady can do together. I never feel rushed even though they can get busy really quickly. They make sure your satisfied with the job they do. Read Less
