I just left after spending $75 on a spa Pedi and Fill. Which would be fine if I now didn’t need to rush home to try and fix them myself. I’m a Cosmetologist but I prefer to let others do my nails. The Pedicure was...okay. The Fill looks god awful. I asked for a more natural French look, which I’ve had many times elsewhere. For starters, I asked for a rounded shape, and they are square, uneven and poorly filed. The edges are super rough. Second, you can VERY clearly see the Fill and sanding lines through the clear polish. I did in, in fact, bring all this up to the nail tech and was quite clear on how unhappy I was with the outcome. I was told that if I didn’t want to see that then I should have asked for an ombré. WHAT?! Any nail tech ANYWHERE knows that if you do a French on Acrylic nails you have to first apply some sort of color that replicates the nail bed first, to cover said file lines, then paint the tips. I am unsure why this is posted under my husbands name. But this morning I went in to have a manicure and my nails dipped in gel, for a wedding. I sat in the girls chair, she seriously filed my nails, dipped them and I was done. All of 20 minutes in the chair, she never spoke to me and then she charged me $42.80!!! Ridiculous, I will make the trip to Altoona to Happy Nails where they would have actually given me a manicure like I asked for, and I actually would have had a pleasant conversation with the gal doing my nails. I had the best experience there! All the ladies that worked with me were top notch I just walked in without an appointment and they took me within 3 min, they even apologized for the wait... Not to mention my nails look AWESOME!! As do my toes! Even the hostess came over to make sure that all was going well. Customer service is really the best that I have experienced in a long while. Tyra is very rude... They are only out for the money....do care how they treat you. Leave you sitting while they do walk in wax of brows. Start you then move you to someone else. Talk rude to customers and in their language so we can't understand what they are saying about us. A friend and I went in to get our nails redone after my friend's poor acrylics (done here) fell off after 5 days and the workers rolled their eyes at us because we caught them at a busy time. Unless you would like torn up cuticles and rude costumer service, I would not recommend coming here. Read Less

My daughter (a poor college student) took her friend there for her birthday. She told them that she wanted $15 manicures for each of them. She was charged $67!!! That's terrible for 2 manicures. My daughter said that they were shown colors and chose from them. When I went to ask why it was so much the lady was very rude and told me that the girls chose gel colors. They were not told of the price difference and the employee told me that it's the clients responsibility to ...ask what the prices are!! Are you kidding me? I used to be a nail tech. I never did anything for a client that I didn't tell them the price. It's a dirty shop. They do not sanitize like they should, they share nail files and they use a 'cheese slicer' on the calluses on the feet. (I have seen it in the past when I went there) That tool is illegal in Iowa. I wish no stars was an option. SO RUDE. Called for an appt, showed up for said appt and was asked to pick my colors. While picking colors staff came over to grab colors for their current clients, my daughter was moved aside so one of them could look. I brushed it off at first. We sat down and were ignored for over 30 minutes (about 20 after our set time). Meanwhile, 4 clients were taken before us, all announcing later appt times. I asked how long it would be and was told they were taken first because they were regulars. I went here today with my friend for pedicures and did not get very good service at all. We were rushed like crazy, and did not get my calluses removed like i wanted. They started my friend a good 10 minutes before me and we were done about the same time. Idk her name but the girl who did my toes did not file them at all, smeared the paint on my skin, and had very uneven coats. I will be going somewhere else for my next pedicure. I would give it negative stars if that were an option! Stopped in for a basic mani-pedi. Did my feet then started on my nails. I told her I had just cut my nails and they were the length I wanted. She proceeds to saw them straight across down to the finger. I get upset and tell her they were where I has wanted and I like them round. She continues to sand them making everything worse. I am in town visiting family and saw this place. At first I wasn't sure, it's nothing fancy. But the gal who welcomed me, Jenny, was super sweet. They have all the standard mani/pedi services and Jenny does nail art. She suggested ombre color which I hadn't ever had before, so I agreed. Love it! Jenny was professional, thorough, and fast. I asked for purple tips and the lady started putting on blue ones. I told her they were blue. She assured me that they were dark purple. Purple is one of my wedding colors and now my something blue has to be my nails since she wouldn't listen and wouldn't fix them. The lady was very rude to me and they are over priced. 1. The lady was very rude. She would stop and talk to another employee and just leave me sitting there, she apparently kept getting text messages or emails and she would stop and read them and reply, and every time another employee had to ring someone up she would stop and talk like it was her customer. Like lady, I'm literally sitting right I front of you. I'm your customer.2. My thumbs hurt. I think she got my nail too thin when she was making it rough with the drill thing she had.3.
