I went in to get a chipped artificial nail fixed & a change from regular polish to gel. It took 45 min! The man who did the work was super slow! He showed his frustration while working because he couldn't paint my nails well. I think a 10 year old could have done better. I wouldn't recommend this salon. I won't be back. Read Less

About two weeks ago two of my friends and I made appointments on a Saturday at 1 to get our nails done for a wedding that evening.  When we arrived we had a half hour wait before two of us were seated in pedicure chairs while the other waited another 15 minutes for a manicure.  I sat with my feet in the water for 15 minutes before the owner finished up another woman and moved on to me.  In this time another customer had walked in and was helped almost immediately.  The owner, I can't remember her name,  was very rude and when I mentioned that we were in a hurry because we needed to be to the wedding at 5 she told me we should have come in on Friday.  Obviously,  we were busy on Friday... WHICH IS WHY WE MADE AN APPT FOR SATURDAY! She was very rude the for the duration of the appointment and was constantly playing with her hair while touching my feet- ew! The color selection was pretty lame with a lot of duplicates and the quality of the pedicure was not great.  Mine had started to chip after the first week and now on week two, it looks pitiful. Normally, I can go three weeks with a good pedicure.  Very disappointed. Read Less

Service is super slow, even if you plan ahead. I called ahead for an appointment for two people at 4pm. They began my pedicure at 4:40pm, and my companion's pedicure at 5pm. We didn't leave until 5:45pm. Waaay too long for two pedicures. I won't be back. Read Less

I had such a terrible experience there. The guy who worked on my gel manicure kept messing them up. I was on a tight schedule and the lady told me that I would be done within 30-40 mins. I was there for 1 1/2 hour. By the time I was done, my hands were so red from drying under the UV light. Never coming back!!! Read Less

Really like this place. I'm in town for a visit and was looking for a place to pamper myself. This place was across the street from the hotel so I took a chance.  ManiPedi is $35 very reasonable. They were able to take me in as a walk-in with very little wait. The place is very clean. I saw a guy cleaning the foot tub after he finished with a customer so that is a very good sign. They decided to do the manicure first.   The ladies were very good.  They don't really talk much which I prefer.  After I was seated, then a number of customers came; many of them were obvious return customers so that is also a plus.  They also provide free refreshments for their customer.  A nice touch.  They moved me to a pedicure station because they needed to address the wait.  I guess most of the wait was for manicure.  My girl took real good care of me and I enjoyed my experience there.  Highly recommended for those living in Urbandale or Johnston.  For that matter, it's not a far drive from Jordan Creek Mall either.  I will return if I am back in the area.
