Truly aggravated with my service, I paid 55 dollars for acrylic with gel on top. My cuticles were not pushed back, meaning the acrlyic was laid further back allowing my natural nail to be seen on top. One tiny drop of glue for the tips meant that the SECOND DAY my nails were coming up, I can see the separation on every single nail! I am from Florida where nails only cost 25 dollars for a full set of acrylic so to pay twice as much for work that is 100 times lesser quality left me very angry. Very rough and painful. I left bleeding and my nails smudged because she kept grabbing them to see if they were dry because she wanted to go home. This was the most painful nail experience I've ever had in my life. They still hurt while writing this . Will not be going back after yesterday's experience. My friend made us 3 appointments at 11:30 for pedis. 11:40 rolled around & they finally came back & got 1 of us. 11:45 rolled around & they finally came to get another. Finally at 11:58, someone came & got me. "Sorry for the wait" ... yeah, thanks. My pedicure literally was over faster than the amount of time I waited for it, and she did a terrible job on top of that. My "massage" was about 30 seconds per foot, and I ended... up with polish all over my toes. My friends, who remember, started before me ... were both done WAY after me. Great salon. It's very clean and modern, all of the Techs were timely (I was in a group of 9 adults and 2 younger ones about 8) but they didn't seem rushed. I had Loan do my nails and I love them! The lady who worked on my nails was extremely rude. I had an appointment but they accepted walk ins before me....leaving me to wait 30 minutes! I also asked for a jewel to be glued on. The placing was very awkward and didn't match the nail design and one jewel fell off in less than 24 hours! Read Less

After going on Yelp to look for a good pedicure place I choose Gloss for the location and some good reviews. I called the place to see of they had anything open at this point and was told no and the front desk lady had me make an appointment for 12:45pm, mind you it was 11:45 am. I decided to walk there since it's pretty close to our new home and I was greeted at the front desk and quickly asked if I had an appointment, even though there were only 2 people getting their nails... done. I responded yes gave my name and was then asked to go to the side of the wall and and that was all. Wasn't asked to pick a color or sit in one of the chairs there. Thankfully I was then approached by one of the other workers there that sighed when she saw me standing there like a fool and politely showed me where the colors where and that someone would get to me shortly. I was then escorted to my pedicure chair by the the front desk lady and proceeded to start the pedicure. The lady took 15 min!! 15 min to remove nail polish, buff, remove cuticle massage my legs and paint my nails!! I don't know about here but we sure don't pay $30 for a quick 15 min pedicure in Texas and if it's this quick we pay way less!! I felt as though I should have said something but as I mention, I'm not sure if this is a common thing here in Milwaukee. Da- Vi Nails is an awesome salon, the workers there are super friendly and work fast but do a great quality job ! The prices are reasonable too and they are located in a very convenient spot......just inside Wal-Mart! I highly recommend Da-Vi's! Read Less
