Pretty good. I wish they did a better job on my pedicure though. I usually go there for my nails and the do a great job but for some reason they always mess up my pedicure or don't get the rough parts...

I received poor service yesterday and wont be back . I have been going to lv for a few months now regularly . In the past id go periodically . I've even brought friends and told friends about lv. Dee does a great job and even scheduled with her . I have had the same problem in the past with the women who did my nails last night . it was sloppily done and the fill wasn't even full . I need another one today . she didn't listen to what I wanted and just started painting . there are air bubbles in the paint & she didn't shape them right . she didn't ask if I wanted them trimmed . she was rushing me and she rushed through the work . for a person behind me . I had called that morning to schedule with Dee a fill , nail fix and a pedicure . it was pitiful the service I received and then for her to talk about me with her next client was the cherry on top of the cake . its a shame . I will go pay $5 more and go somewhere else . they can never do anything you want them to do either . its just ridiculous

LV Nails is the best nail shop in DSM!! They are always friendly, very thorough with pedicures (even with nasty, dry, calluses feet like mine), manicures, and waxing. Their prices are very reasonable...
LV Nails is the best nail shop in DSM!! They are always friendly, very thorough with pedicures (even with nasty, dry, calluses feet like mine), manicures, and waxing. Their prices are very reasonable and well worth any wait, if at all. Dee, Van, and Michelle are my favorites. I highly recommend this nail salon!!!

I've been looking for an affordable, high quality place to get shellac done in MKE since I moved here 2 years ago and this place delivers. The salon is very clean and the staff is friendly and professional. My tech did a great job taming my wild cuticles and applied the shellac in thin layers so I got good color coverage without the bulky, bubbly look that I've seen elsewhere. Great experience, I'll definitely be back!

This place is a diamond in the rough. Most importantly the salon and the tools that they use are super CLEAN! They also do a terrific job and the prices are very reasonable for the level of service provided. The salon actually soaks and files off no-chip polish gently and in the correct way. I would highly recommend Studio Nails!

We walked in for 2 mani-pedi combos, and only had to wait 25 minutes, which was no problem. The attention to detail was wonderful. Very friendly staff, who seemed well acquainted with the majority of the customers. Several people came in while we were receiving our mani-pedis and requested gift certificates. Seems like the place to go if you want to be received with open arms and smiles. My spouse and I are very happy with the services we received on December 24th! My only suggestion might be having complimentary beverages or an option to purchase bottled water.

When my wife got done with her nails she was already irritated. As she came out and got into the vehicle I asked her if she wanted me to go say anything and she said no. They started her then started...
When my wife got done with her nails she was already irritated. As she came out and got into the vehicle I asked her if she wanted me to go say anything and she said no. They started her then started helping other people and made her wait as another employee finished with someone else. She stated to me that she had been sitting there for a while and that they started helping people after her and those people got done before her. It took an hour and a half to do a set of nails (no take offs) they were suppose to be round but ended up square. After we got home and I started to look at them it looks as if she needs to go back for a fill already. The lengths of the nails are all different lengths and they don't even look like they are straight with her fingers. After spending $90 dollars there for 2 pedicures and a set of nails you think they would have done a better job than that. This is one place I will not go back to. VERY UNSATISFIED.

Omg!! My nails look AMAZING and feel amazing. And I was done so fast!!! I got tips and shellac and my nails feel so thin! Everyone seemed really happy to be there and the place was really busy and I was still in and out with no appointment in less time than it takes the other place and my nails feel 100x better. Thank you! So happy I randomly stopped by. Even though you are way farther from my house I might just drive all the way back my nails feel that good.

I came to Studio Nails to have my acrylic nails removed. At other salons the nail tech would take an unused nail enhancement, and pop/scrape off my acrylic nails. This process was not only painful, but left my natural nails severely damaged. The lovely nail tech at Studio Nails took the time to properly soak and file off my acrylic nails. My natural nails looked wonderful at the end of the process. I then got a fantastic manicure. I couldn't be happier with the end result. As for the salon in general- it's clean, bright, and very welcoming. All of the tools for my manicure were brought out in a sealed package and had obviously gone through an autoclave, so they were sterile and ready to go! The prices were also very very reasonable. I will definitely return. (Cross posted from Yelp)

I've been going here for a few years now and I love everyone there. They are reasonably priced and always give great service. I live in Ames, but I still make sure to plan my schedule out so I can be in Des Moines when it is time to get my nails done. They are VERY clean, and I never worry about any of the equipment being dirty. They are awesome awesome awesome here!!! You can walk in, but it is a popular place and can get busy, so I would suggest making an appointment.

The salon is very clean and the staff is friendly and professional.
