I called and asked if they could accommodate five pedicures at one time I asked multiple times and each time they said yes no problem we can work on all five of you at the same time. When we arrive we got seated but there are only three people to work on our feet the owner left and got some food and ate it rather than servicing It was very unprofessional. I left without getting my pedicure. I will not be back and I will make sure every social outlet is aware of the horrible service they give. Customers are not #1. Very bad business. The last three times I've gone here my experience has been progressively worse. From just down right rudeness , to rushing me in and out, sloppy color that ended up to thick and taking forever to dry. The icing on the cake was when the old lady doing my nails was on the phone and physically slapped my hand while I was pointing out to her an area that needed fixing. I nearly refused to pay. I will never EVER be back or recommend this place ever again. Lee nails just down the block does better work and are super friendly. I found them the time before my last visit to Malibu when they were super rude to me when i tried to get a fill without an appointment. This rating has nothing to do with the outcome of my nails . I got a full set and I absolutely love them! I always go to Malibu and recommend it to everyone because the price is reasonable and I know it's sanitary. But, I called yesterday to make two appointments for 4. One for a set and the other for a mani and pedi. We get there at 4 and my friend gets taken care of while I wait (which is of course fine. I understand how sometimes it gets busy and it takes a little bit longer) but I waited until 4:45 until I was taken care of. And it wasn't even the girl I made it with (the one who always has done them) . Again, I love how they turned out but I wish I didn't have to wait 45 minutes without any explanation and then not even get the girl I requested. Read Less

Went in for full set and pedicure the lady that did the full set didn't even put top clear coat on and there were bits of nail hanging off everywhere and then the pedicure took like 15 minutes and they didn't even clean out under the nail... worst pedicure I have ever had!! Read Less

My favorite nail salon in the area. The only place I will go to from now on! I used to get fake nails done here for school dances and they did a great job and always made sure I got the look that I wanted. Now I go in for pedicures and they are amazing. The owners are also very friendly and very good at their jobs. I always recommend Malibu to people asking where to go in the QC! Read Less

This is my second visit here because after the first one I was in love, when you call to make an appointment they are very friendly and good with time. The environment is calm and friendly they have the radio on and the station plays all of the best songs. They take their time shaping and applying the acrylic. I love this place! Malibu Nails is my go to place to get my nails done! My no chip/shellac manicure lasts up to 14 days sometimes even longer! I don't know how many times I've gotten my nails done in Chicago and my nails chip within 5 days. The service and quality is nothing compared to Malibu Nails in Davenport, IA! Read Less

Very disappointing service. My sister came to town to visit and we went to get our nails done. We arrived at the same time as 3 other people. There were only two people working, so clearly some of us were left waiting. We weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a big deal at first. Then 3 more people came in and were told to wait or come back later. One person even came in for their appointment at 12:30 and wasn't seen until 1:15. As if being understaffed wasn't a problem enough, the person doing our shellac manicures made so many errors, she had to start over. We both left with nail polish on our cuticles, which means it will likely not last the full 14 days, and were very disappointed in the uneven polish job that was done. Excellent experience.  My daughter and I were looking for a place to be pampered.....WE FOUND IT!  We were very pampered.  They became pretty busy after we arrived but never made us feel rushed.  The massage I had was one of the best.    I live in Texas but when I return, this will be a place I will visit for a pedicure!I'm glad that we read the reviews but took a chance and decided to form our own opinion!  The staff was very courteous and prices very reasonable! Find it weird that this place has bad reviews. The best pedicure I've ever had was from here. Very relaxing chair and atmosphere. I am a consistent customer here and have had nothing but good experiences. I came today for a pedicure and mentioned that I was starting to get cracks in my heels and asked for advice on what to do. Not only did they do a phenomenal job at addressing the immediate "issue", but offered advice to begin tomorrow that was a super cheap and easy solution.Read Less

Awful service went in for a manicure and they spent a totally of 3min on me never asked me what I wanted for my nails just painted them and thats it. There wasnt even a wait so I dont understand why she was rushing so much. dont think they understand the difference between a polish change and a manicure. Will never back. Read Less

Thank god for this place!!! Deluxe pedicures here are lovely!My boyfriend and I usually get pedicures every other week. We just moved back from Florida and have tried nearly every place in the QC and none have even came close to how great our pedicures were here. Staff is very friendly.
