I've been going to Huong and Thu for many years. I came across them when they had their salon downtown. I absolutely fell in love with them. Their craft and art is always professional and on point. They are very current in latest styles and products. When they bought their salon in waukee and moved, I had no choice but to follow them. Today was my first visit to Truly Nails. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the pedicure, the best I've ever had. I spent my professional life on my feet, so they are sensitive; I am also slightly ticklish. In spite of this, I was totally relaxed by the end of the pedicure. The owners of this salon are the nicest people you will ever meet!  They take their time to make sure your services are perfect!  I had the dip powder done at another salon and needed it removed. I was dreading getting it removed as in the past other salons have torn layers off my nails by ripping the acrylic off.  At Truly Nails, they soaked my nails for a long time and slowly used the tools to shave off the acrylic, saving my natural nails from getting torn.  I was so impressed!  They have a huge selection of polish colors and shellac!  Best manicure/nail experience EVER!  And their prices are so reasonable Read Less

I have gone to Truly nails for years and refuse to go anywhere else. It is just the husband and wife duo so its best to make an appointment. The appointment is well worth it! They take time at their craft and offer their very best to each customer. I am spoiled to have these to and their business in my life. I highly recommend their services. The wife is a fantastic artist and hand paints all the designs. She is fresh in her thinking and offers her very best each time and for every holiday. This husband and wife team used to work downtown in the kaleidoscope hub. They are skilled, friendly, and keep the entire salon very clean. I never know when I have time to run in, and they are really busy since they are loved by their loyal clientele, but they always do their best to fit me in. I've only been turned away a few times and only because I couldn't wait 30 minutes. I'm super picky, and my feet are always smooth, shellac is not too thick and not too thin- perfect. They are a great value too. I haven't cheated on them, it's not worth it, I just go without if I can't make time to stop in. Read Less
