A stressful Wednesday evening left me wanting a pick-me-up on Thursday. I didn't want to eat my emotions at the Public Market, so instead I looked up nail salons in the area to splurge on something relaxing. I'm so glad I found Nula La. Kara was wonderful. I was able to get a quick question answered through the Nula La facebook page and the online booking was super easy. Kara and Ann are wonderful women that make you feel so welcome in their comfortable loft space. The shellac manicure I got is perfection. My hands haven't been so well treated in ages. Kara is meticulous about how your nails look and wants you to be happy leaving her shop. I don't get manicures regularly, it's a once and while splurge. But I might have to make it a more semi-regular thing now. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Waited 20 minutes before walking out. I was being told over and over again just a little wait while an employee sat on his phone the whole time I was waiting. As I got up and walked out the door no one tried to stop me or said anything.

Usually when I go, I love it. But this time there were total different workers, two worked on me. First the guy cut my finger, small cut, but painful... secondly the lady did my nails without grace. (...
Usually when I go, I love it. But this time there were total different workers, two worked on me. First the guy cut my finger, small cut, but painful... secondly the lady did my nails without grace. (I got a french manicure) She left most of the sides of my nails unpainted & she left white marks on the bottom of my nail. When i asked her to remove a black fuzzy she removed it and left a hole as if it looked good. There was no hand massage not even lotion applied. I paid & I'm not planning on returning.

Cheapest place I've found for a gel pedicure around Clive. $25 for regular pedi $35 for gel pedi. Did a nice job, friendly service and my pedicure looks good. I'll be back!

Kara is so much fun and ensures you are happy with your service. I love that she actually cares about the health of the nail and not just about what can get the job done fastest (i.e. taking off shellac with the drill or filing the crap out of it with an emery board). Booking online is super easy, which is great if you're like me and hate waiting up to an hour for a manicure at most walk-in places.

Kara is the BEST! I've been going to her since 2013 and I will never go anywhere else! My shellac manis last 3-4 weeks with no chips. She is hands down the best nail tech in Milwaukee.

I'm very hard on my hands and I never have nails breaking or polish coming off! They will have me as a customer for life!

A stressful Wednesday evening left me wanting a pick-me-up on Thursday. I didn't want to eat my emotions at the Public Market, so instead I looked up nail salons in the area to splurge on something relaxing. I'm so glad I found Nula La. Kara was wonderful. I was able to get a quick question answered through the Nula La facebook page and the online booking was super easy.
