Went in on a Friday (had appointments) and they did a great job! I got a pedicure and a shellac fill. The next day all of my nail polish was bubbling up and chipping off, I called them Monday to let them know, the manager told me to come back in on Tuesday I told them I work until late and live an hour away and can't make it to them by 8(closing), she told me I could come in Saturday and they would fix! So I went in this past Saturday. They fixed-after he told me it was my f...ault "I didn't hold my nails under the light correctly" when I got done I went to the counter. I was going to give him a tip for taking his time- he told me it would be 22.00?? After he messed them up-I told him no and asked the lady why she was charging she told me because I didn't come in on Monday? So they are now fighting on whether to charge me or not. Finally he said he would always charge for this-but this time I won't, but it wasn't our fault?? So I threw a tip down and started to walk out where he just started dying laughing? We made an appointment a week in advance for 3 manicures & pedicures. The salon became very busy as we were getting our pedicures. My pedicure & manicure felt very rushed. Also, they left my daughter sitting by herself for 45 minutes after her pedicure was done before they would do her manicure. Either they placed walk-ins at a higher priority than us or they over-booked themselves. They kept saying that they were short staffed. They had around 8 or so people working. Looks like they need to start turning people away or spread their reservations out so that the people who are in there get better service. Prices seemed way higher than other places for what you get during the pedicure. Definitely won't be spending our money there again. Read Less

Awful! I had a simple shellac French manicure and pedi done by Tracy, within two days it turned a burnt yellow brown on the tip, of course they said I must have done something but offered to redo it but I chose to just do a neutral color no shellac the second time done by Amy a co-manager, first of all it took almost an hour because she was doing a pedicure at the same time while I was sitting under a heat lamp for 20 min to melt the shellac. She was so rough buffing my nails skin was removed on several fingers in which I still have scabs over a week later also there is white nail polish from the French tips on several fingers because she rushed me through and wasn't thorough. I paid $68 for the whole mess no refund for the shellac that lasted two days just terrible service all around and wounds on top of it never again!!! Read Less

I love this salon. Peaceful and all are very welcoming and accomodative. Love having my own set of instruments! Incredibly clean and well managed. Located SUPER convenient next to Jethro's BBQ in Johnston. English language is very well (and most often) therein. I feel like a priority (not a dollar sign) when I walk in. Read Less

I walked in for the first time.  Very nice! It was clean and nicely decorated.  The music was relaxing. The staff was friendly. They got me right in and did a great job.  They have a huge selection of gel nail colors. Prices are comparableto others in the area for better service!  I will be sure to visit again! Read Less

I have been here twice and both times got a shellac (gel) manicure.  I don't know the name of either woman who helped me, nor would I request her again.  Not good, not bad, just OK.  The first time the tech put three coats of color on, the second time the tech put on two.  My first manicure lasted well over three weeks. After one and a half weeks on my second I'm seeing enough wear to think I'll be going back earlier this time.  Neither of my techs spoke much English but at least I wasn't being harassed about buying more services while I was there.  I'll be back if I'm in a pinch because I live nearby but it isn't anything to write home about. This is my 3rd visit and have been happy every time. The inside is very pretty and clean. They have a lot of pedicure chairs so would be good for a large group.  The staff is friendly and professional. The organize their polishes in such a way that they are easy to look through without being a cluttered mess. I have gone to Nicole the last two times and I am very happy with her. She's polite and is very gentle, which works well for me because manicures tend to hurt my hands when they twist your fingers around. I will be coming back again! Read Less

I've been to a lot of nail salons in the greater Des Moines area, and I keep coming back to this one. It's very clean, they honor appointments and actually tell people no when they're to busy instead of making them sit & wait for ever. They sanitize all their instruments before each client too.
