Waited 40 minutes for them to give me a 5 minute manicure. Girl who did my nails couldn’t ever pay attention to my nails for more then 5 seconds at a time, she was too busy worrying about who was coming in the door and who was getting their nails done behind us. Went with two other ladies and they quickly got us seated and soaking for our pedicures while they finished up the others in the salon. We all did different tiers of pedicures and we were all very satisfied. Great exfoliating scrub and moisturizers. One of us got the top tier and they truly go all out. I just arrived at nail world 6:30pm, they close at seven and they turned me away saying they are closed!! Trish should be ashamed of herself. They just lost a very loyal customer! I drove all the way from marion to come here! I normally spend 150 dollars each trip. I get my nails, (gel powder and gel polish), delux pedicure, eye brows wax and always leave a great tip! I have a family photo shoot tomorrow and now I won't have my nails done!Read Less

They do a great job every time I come in. I have come in with a picture of kind of what I want done and they nail it every time. I was just in and thy didn't have the color I was looking for but ended up working with colors to get pretty spot on to what I was looking for. I've gone other places and haven't had as great of an experience nor have my nails looked as good as they do when I come here. Read Less

Had my acrylic nails done here for prom and I thought they last actually did a good job until I got home and seen that she had some of them on crooked. Went back about a week after prom to get them off, thinking they would soak them in acetone and take them off that way but instead she used one of the acrylic nails that they put on and pulled them off on by one and she wasn't even paying attention when she did it and it was very painful. Went in with a friend to get pedicures for both of us, my friend also had a manicure and I just had my nails painted. We both had so called designs on our nails. Shellac polish was used on both of us. We were NOT informed that shellac was extra. Our bill came to $280. We were in shock!! I confronted the owner and asked her to explain the bill. I had a pedicure and manicure done by 2 different people. A special on the window said a pedicure was $20, but didn't list what was included with it, so I felt pressured to go with the deluxe pedicure for $35. I really enjoyed the pedicure and the girl did a nice job. Then I had the manicure and was pressured to try the gelac but declined. My fingers still look awesome with the regular polish too. What I didn't like though was the pressuring to go with the more expensive items, and when I declined the gelac, I felt like I didn't get the best service for the manicure. It is not closed. Went there 5/18 they were very busy but got us seated right away. Even though our manicure ran into closing time they took time to be precise in the details. The gal that did my nails hand painted flowers on mine, and my niece got ombre. There were a few errors with hers but my technician (sorry I didn't get her name) stayed late and made the corrections. I used to love this place! There are only one or two people there now that actually make you feel at home, one of them is the gal that does the gel nails. My pedicure was pathetic, I could have done a better job myself. Next time I will do it myself and save the $25. Taking off the worst painted French pedicure paint now and repainting them myself. Also, aren't they supposed to put the blue disinfectant/antifungal stuff in the water before you put your feet in it? WITHOUT asking? I feel like they have gotten very lazy and careless here! Trish and everyone are very skilled at what they do. I came here because I was referred by my friend who had been coming here for years. I've been to other places in CR that do terrible fill ins that show the lines, but this place does it well. Pink and whites are my go to, but I've had their pedicures and color gel too. Most of the time, unless your nails are really non oily, color gel doesn't seem to last for 2 weeks, more like 7-10 days unless you put it on top of acrylic or pink fill. This is the case with all salons, but my nail bed is oily and mine stayed on for quite some time. Never had an issue with length or it breaking. Great service, very friendly. I will say though that every once in a while I see a customer who is either a snob or downright rude about the services they want. Regardless of how rude customers have been to any of the staff though, Nail World crew has always been friendly to everyone regardless.   This is what makes them stand out. Read Less

I've been a regular customer at Nail World since they opened their doors many years ago. Trish is the only person I will let work on my nails, but I know others are very good for their own specialties. I am not as choosy about my pedicures, but still enjoy the process. My advice for people that truly want a relaxing spa pedicure is to pay $50 or more and go to a local salon/spa. Those pedicures really are more about the "experience" just as much as the actual paint job. I absolutely agree with never going on the weekends. It's very busy! I try to get my nails done over a lunch hour or earlier in the week. I think you will find that staff are felling less pressure to rush at those times and things won't be quite as chaotic. Trish and her staff are very kind to their customers and want to make sure people are happy. They work 6 days a week, 10 hour days, with minimal breaks. They truly appreciate the people that return. I have also been to other local salons and salons around the country when I travel. I am never happy with their service or quality of work. It says a lot about Nail World that they are always so busy and that people keep coming back. In regards to cleanliness, I have been at Nail World on multiple occasions when they are completing their nightly cleaning process. It's thorough! If customers see problems with specific staff not using proper hygiene, it's important to let Trish know or talk to the staff, not just complain about it on a review site. They don't know to fix the problem if no one tells them. I've brought issues up that I see and Trish makes sure they are remedied. I will continue to be a Nail World customer. Read Less

Filthy. Dirty tools, filmy tubs, just your cheap corner nail place. Employees are rude and impersonal, trying to finish quickly and move to the next customer. The lady filling up the basin tried to sell more expensive options in broken English, and when I told her I want just a regular pedicure, lost any interest and couldn't get done quick enough. I'd like to give nail world more stars, I really wanted to but after being told I could get a pedicure 'Right away' I sat in the pedicure chair for 20 min. I took my feet out of the water, let them dry & got up to leave nicely, not angry. 3 ladies jumped up to stop me saying they'd get to me. I said No Thanks. The real reason I'm only leaving 1 star is because 3 of the women started to laugh at me & talk in their own language in a nasty way about me to eachother.
