My boyfriend travels for work and is in that area twice a month . We treated ourselves to a pedicure and I also got a gel manicure . Staff was very friendly but all very rushed . The lady who did my pedicure was not even looking at my feet as she filed and it hurt. I also mentioned I wanted my nails cut straight across and she cut them at a slant then cut the corners off! Decor and lay out are beautiful. My tech. Not polite, burnt my nail with the file 3 times and couldn’t put the 4 letters I wanted on my nails so he got someone else and they took 10 mins to come ask what I wanted. Then walked off for another 5. So I asked for a glass of wine while I waited. (I had a water previous) they said only 1 drink per customer In all my nails took an hour and a half. I’ve been coming to DQ for quite sometime. The last three times I’ve gone in my nails have broken I went in for a repair a week ago and the same nail just broke. I’d understand if I was doing something that would break my nails but I’m not. Going to be switching to a new nail salon. Read Less

It's taken me a long time to even decide to post this, most the reviews I leave are positive ones. But every time I think about this situation... it makes me angry. So I feel like I need to post this 1. So others can avoid this place & 2. SO THE BUSINESS ITSELF LEARNS A LESSON ON HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS. The last week of July 2017 I went into DQ nail bar & asked for a set of pink and white ombré nails. Quinn (i believe his name was) confidently assured me he could preform the job. Even after showing him a picture of exactly what i wanted. As he got closer to being finished i started to question him - because what was being done looked NOTHING like ombré! After being cut with nail drill several times he kept telling me to just wait and see until he was completely finished that it would look like the picture i had shown him. The first picture i have posted here, was the end result of Quinn's work. I was literally speechless, my eyes teared up & he knew i was not happy. Without any apology or even offering to discount or even completely remove the nails. HE CHARGED ME FULL PRICE WITH NO APOLOGIES. Didn't even care what his work looked like, acted as if i was the one inconveniencing him and gave me attitude. I paid full price about 60 bucks - even gave a tip and left immediately. After googling and asking around for the following 45 mins. I frantically took myself over to Nails De Vie where STEVEN giggled at the nail job in disbelief but quickly started the removal and put on a PROPER ombré set. Which is the second picture i have uploaded here! So in total of less than 6hrs i ended up spending over 100 dollars to get a proper set of ombré nails thanks to QUINN AT DQ NAIL BAR. This whole experience was unnecessary had Quinn only told me he couldn't preform the service. Don't lie to people! Since this incident i refuse to go anywhere else for any nail service except for Nails De Vie! The place is clean the staff is very friendly and cares about the quality of their work and isn't just trying to shuffle as many clients in and out as they can. Read Less

Very friendly service. Upon arrive you're offered a beverage. They offer nail service, feet, waxing and more. I had a fill in with design and my eye brows waxed and certainly couldn't be happier. It appeared there were a lot of regular customs, the staff knew them by name. They welcome walk ins, as I had and was provided services within a few minutes. I love going to dq nail bar, you would think with the decor its pricy but to me they are well priced and do so well! I dont do my nails all the time but they are my go to place. My feet tend to be a little rougher... but they have the best tools and they are so soft and smooth after.Read Less

Loved this place! It took a little bit longer than I expected to actually get a seat but that’s because there was a wedding party ahead of me wants to see that the nail technician was super polite very honest with me about pricing and made sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. When I came in, I was impressed by the decor and how the building was arranged. My nail tech was not polite, left my old gel red nail polish on my new French manicure and stated that it just doesn’t come off. She told me that what I picked out looked juvenile and was upset that I didn’t choose gel for my French manicure. There were 3 of us in our party, and this was a treat for a huge goal we made. One of my staffers didn’t even get the right polish and it ended up being oran...ge, not red and her tech would not change it. She made her cuticles bleed as well. I was told I had to pay before she started my nails, so I did. Then, after the work that was done that wasn’t near to standard, they would not refund our money. We didn’t even leave the facility, and the owners gave one of us a gift certificate for a gel polish, not the $160 plus tip that was charged. To start with something positive; i will say this place always appears very clean compared to other salons in the area. I have always enjoyed going to this salon, until my experience last week.When you spend 70$ on a manicure/pedicure, you want what you paid for. My pedicure was sub-par, it was nothing special.The manicure I received was nothing short of horrible. I explained that, while I know my natural nails are short, I wanted to add some length to them without using acrylic. I hate the look of thick fake nails. They explained that sure, this would not be a problem.During my full price manicure, my cuticles were not cleaned up at all. They look like shit considering I had not had a manicure for a long time. The woman began using what appeared to be acrylic, when I asked if that's what she was using she just kept assuring me they would not be "too thick".  On top of that, they used gel polish and charged me for that despite repeatedly saying that I did not need gel nails since they ended up using the acrylic. Clearly, they just wanted to charge me more money by using the gel polish.Now, 1 week out, 1 nail is cracked and another is completely broken off. For 75$, they should last at least 2 weeks. You can't even tell I got a pedicure a week ago. Overall I'm very disappointed and will not return. There are other places to spend my money. Read Less

I would give this place a 0 if I could. The only thing nice, is the building. I went in today for the first time and my nails look horrible. The lady didn't check that my nails were similar length between hands. The fake nails were so thick its obvious they are fake. Poor service. Overall very unhappy and won't be returning. Read Less

I just went for the 1st time with 10 girls for my wedding. I called months in advance for an appointment and they were absolutely fabulous! We were in and out within an hour and a half (if that). They offered drinks and carried on conversations with us girls. The quality of their work was great, it's been a week and they still look perfect (which is crazy bc I am a picker/biter). I am not sure what is up with the negative reviews. I made an appointment on Friday evening, which is a busy time, I walked in and was seated right away and offered a beverage. Quinn did my fill and gel manicure. DQ does not skip on the manicure details, beautiful shaped, and natural short like I asked. I picked out a fun dark purple and glitter and it turned out beautiful. They were busy because everyone wants pretty nails for the weekend but Quinn full on gave me full service, he even showed me some fun nail fx for next time. Quyen & Ti are great at gel manicures. My nails last 3 weeks every time I get them done without chipping. They are both extremely detail oriented and really take the time when doing your nails. I love coming to this salon! They are pretty busy, especially near the weekends, but the staff are all so friendly and delightful. They get people through as quickly as possible with a smile on their faces! 100% recommend! Read Less

This place is only getting one star because it is a beautiful building. However, I have never been more disappointed in a service. The women talked to each other the whole time, which I get being chatty, but I do not get ignoring your paying customers. Many other people there were offered drinks but I was not. I never pay more than around $25 for a manicure and today it was $32 for a 0 star service. I will not be back. There are many places I could pay way less for a better service. I wanted to like this place but just ended up leaving feeling disappointed. 5there is nothing special about this place. While the atmosphere is nice and my nails look great, the service was really lacking. The lady doing my pedicure was really distracted. Far more interested in gabbing with her coworker than paying attention to giving a paying customer quality service. I barely got my legs massaged at all and what rub I did get was almost dry because she barely used any lotion. There was one lukewarm towel draped over both my legs rather than a true hot towel treatment. And my pedicure started after the girl sitting next to me, but ended at the same time. Several of the people around me were offered a complimentary beverage, but I wasn't. I get that they were busy, but to me that isn't an excuse. Let me start by saying the shellac manicure I got turned out great. Everything was very clean and spacious and the staff was very friendly. My problem was that I developed a horrible rash on my hands and arms a few hours after my visit. Ive never had any skin allergy problems before  but people with sensitive skin beware, do not allow them to use the masage lotion if you don't want your arms covered with a burning itchy rash Read Less
