I was a first time customer and the ladies today treated me like I had been going there forever! The gal that did my nails did an excellent job!!! She took her time making sure my nails looked perfect...
I was a first time customer and the ladies today treated me like I had been going there forever! The gal that did my nails did an excellent job!!! She took her time making sure my nails looked perfect, with the shape and polish on the tips, right down to the nail design. I made a 3 week appointment with her and I’m happy to say I love my new nail salon!! Thank you!!

i asked for almond shape and they turned out square. i asked to make them a little shorter and she wouldn’t because she said she still had to shape them, mind you they are the wrong shape anyways. all...

Recently moved to ankeny and have been trying to find a good nail salon. Today I went to Venus and horrible customer service, and when I asked them to paint the spots on my nails that they missed they made it sound like it was a hassle. Cut me several times.

It was great for a very long time. The they got new owners. The new owners were really pretty good. Now it's new owners again... strange may need to look around.

I have been going to Don and Emily for about 2 years and they treat me like family. Love them to pieces and look forward to my nail appointments every 3 weeks. They care about providing excellent customer service down to the rose scented cuticle oil and massages. If you haven't given them a try please do.

Definitely going back! My daughter and I had gone to a different salon before this, but they were closed. I randomly decided on Venus. So glad I did! Most amazing pedicure and service.

I usually get lifting on the corners when I get acrylic tips, and I usually tell the technician and not often is anything done about it and I end up with the same unsatisfying service. However, Don, at Venus Nails, was amazing! He listened to my concern, and was careful in his technique to make sure I got the results I wanted. It's been 3 weeks now and I do not have any lifting. We also used the innovative dip for the first time and I am loving the results. They stronger and more dependable, and really great price, and I love that they are on top of the trends. I will be going back because I am loving my results!

I usually get lifting on the corners when I get acrylic tips, and I usually tell the technician and not often is anything done about it and I end up with the same unsatisfying service. LOVE Venus nails!!! I tried the dip powder for the first time yesterday and loved it!!! Had so many compliments how great it looked and will continue getting this service every time. The staff is so friendly and always remember my name when I walk in:) Also love how the other staff members will stop by and introduce themselves. Being a massage therapist I also enjoy getting pampered with a shoulder massage after my manicure. You rock Venus Nails!!

Very unfriendly. Didn't have a care in the world that I had been going there for 5 plus years and was a little upset my favorite manicurist was gone. Just wanted to get me in the door and charge my 10 more than usually paid for nail service. Told me it was some kind of dip powder. Keep showing me pictures and information on there phone. But they pained the powder on . Strange !! Also I could hardly understand a word they said. After being a dedicated customer for 5 years, I will never go back.

This is our favorite place in all of Des Moines. They don't have a huge selection of colors, but somehow the polish stays on SO much longer than others. And they are super friendly. I don't like to use the UV lights to dry, so they remember and bring out a fan for me!

I was a first time customer and the ladies today treated me like I had been going there forever! The gal that did my nails did an excellent job!!! She took her time making sure my nails looked perfect, with the shape and polish on the tips, right down to the nail design. I made a 3 week appointment with her and I’m happy to say I love my new nail salon!! Thank you!!
