I Dont normally post reviews. But, I had the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. And I come from a retail background and am usually pretty understanding when it comes to these experiences. We scheduled an appointment at 11am. We called and let them know we would be running a few minutes late, exactly 3 minutes. We arrived and waited until 1140. They kept telling us, oh only 10 minutes more. An hour later and we finally said something. The response from the nail artist was but you guys were late. From my experience, common courtesy is to wait 5 minutes due to clock differences. I am getting a pedi as I type this.  This is the only place I have come to for manis and pedis for the past ten years or so.  Always have a quality job done.  The pedis are so awesome...the massages are amazing and last so long.  I have gotten French tips put on here many times.  Always great, no blood, no pain, and they last....especially the dip.  Bring cash for a tip.  You will want to definitely tip these ladies with the magic hands.  Highly recommend! They took me last minute & did a good job with my solar fill, better than most places I have went. And the polish has lasted the 2 weeks .. I also got a pedicure and they didn't over charge, and my designs on my toes still look great!Read Less

Dennise is very talented and super personable; she feels like a long-time friend by your second visit! She is amazing at nail art and will tackle anything you bring her a picture of. She takes her time to make sure each nail is perfect and is flexible with her scheduling. Couldn't ask for more! Read Less

The staff was friendly and squeezed both me and my friend in without an appointment, however, I was disappointed with my shellac manicure. The number one rule with shellac- do not let the polish touch the cuticle or skin. Within days the shellac started peeling at the base of the nails. Read Less

Very happy with Nail Rendezvous. Dennise is very friendly and nice. She takes pride in her work and it shows. She is always up for any color or design I ask of her. If she doesn't have a color you want she will order it for your next appointment. Always sends out appointment reminders and easy to book appointments online is a plus. Would recommend to everyone. This was one of the best nail salon experiences I have ever had!! The staff was very nice and did not rush at all. There were four in our group and we all agreed we would definitely come back. There was a wonderful citrus scrub, rich lotion massage and then a warm stone massage. My daughter said it was magical; it really was! If you are in Ames this is a must go for a pedicure! Go to this nail salon if you want SCABS on your cuticles instead of cute nails! Left today with 3 bleeding cuticles, raw skin, uneven nails, a black fuzz under the acrylic, and clear nail polish pretty far up on my skin surrounding my nail. Appalled at the mess of a job I paid 32.10 for. I really wish I could post pictures. I want my money back! (I'm also not sure of their infection control methods of keeping everything sanitary. I called in and got an appointment on a Sunday which I was so excited about! When I got there I felt like they were rushing to get me out. Dissapointed yet again. My nails have bubbles, and are not painted on the sides. Also, she grinded my cuticles so much that they are sore and red. Definitely not coming back again. Please don't waste your money, try a different place. They have no clue what they are doing. 😡 Read Less

Best nail salon I have ever been too! I would highly recommend her :) She goes above and beyond what other nail salon do. It's a private room and great place to have peace and quiet to relax. I have been to MANY places in the area and there is no service as good as her! I got a shellac mani and it was my first time going today. She has a really easy way to book appointments online. This was the worst manicure I've ever received. Let me start by saying, I only went here because my normal nail salon was booked. Never again. I knew it was going to be bad when I asked the stylists NOT to cut my nails and she proceeded to cut them down to my fingertips. They rushed through the entire session even though I had an appointment booked in advanced. Because they rushed, my manicure looked horrible. Our first and last visit. I went with my adult daughter, and we were both dissatisfied. The lady that did my toes was rough (stinging toes for a few hours after) and sloppy. I just wanted out of there, and didn't notice she missed the whole side of my big toe. She either couldn't speak English very well or wasn't interested in trying, but communicated for foot changes by poking at my legs. If I was chatting with my daughter or didn't switch as quickly as she wanted, she just poked me harder. The lady that did my daughters toes was a little more pleasant, but still rough. My daughter said she experienced pain as well, and this morning, has an infection in her big toe. Never again. I love this place - it's actually called Haley's Nails - I've had several pedicures and they are always done well and it's the longest and best massage ever!!  I've also had shellac done here and they do a great job.  After moving to Boone five months ago I'm so glad I found this place. Read Less

Fantastic!!!! Levi does such a great job. I would sing her praise off the roof tops if I could.... knowing me I would fall. But Levi was terrific. Worth going to see for her nail art alone. Prices are good too. Will be my new full time nail artist. Read Less
