The people are great but, they are of another culture so it may seem they are being rude, but its just their culture, converse with them they are very nice women and they do great work. Walked in today to get a full set acrylic and was treated rudely. Lady with tattoo on her arm which was a cross and another one with words was rude and said my eyebrows which were recently done were messed up... Great customer service... She also thought it was fun to ask customers about my brows as well as her co workers.. My brows should have not have been any of her concern since I was their for nails. And you need to teach them how to start up conversations with your newly customers rather than insulting them. I will not be back as well as I will share this experience with friends and family. It burned when they did my acrylic nails. Their staff didn't do much. They were so bad at doing acrylics. They hurt me so much that my fingers started to bleed. Their staff was rude and didn't do anything!! One women even was watching Netflix on her tablet.Read Less

Been coming here for the past 4 years! They have a good selection of nail polish including Essie and other various brands. Their pedicures are really great for a reasonable price. They give you a short massage and exfoliate with lemon sea salt stuff which leaves your skin feeling & looking amazing! Their english is not as great but  they try to understand you and they usually do. The other places nearby are not as clean as this place. Will return & they also have punch cards at the front desk. I think this is the best place for pedicures! I've been here a couple of times and they all seemed pretty nice and funny. I think alot of people think they talk shit because they don't speak English. But they really don't. I love this place and they do a great job! Especially for a pedicure I love the deluxe pedicures they have such a nice smell to them and they have alot of different kinds of deluxe pedicures.  I love everything about this place and the jokes they make during the pedicure as for manicures I haven't gotten one here yet but I will be getting them done in the future! this is the first time i do a pedi and no chips mani in  h2o tanning and  nail shop in valparaiso.it was wonderful，the people very nice.i tried a deluxe pedi .it takes me almost one hour for pedi  .so relaxing .the girl did a really good massage for me .they have waxing too .i will be back soon with my mom . KIM KNOWS HER SHIT ..yes they are rough around the edges, (They are Chinese and Vietnamese) YES most of the folks here don't speak much if any English...However they are very reasonable, they do a damn good job, and they are very kind to repeat customers!!! If you want to pay $60 for some BS pedicure go to the fancy place down the street , and yes its there people....stupid if you ask me!Now if you want to get your nails done for $35 thats for both Mani and Pediand you want to feel pampered and forget about your problems for a bit go here!!Kim and her gang are funny, and she busts out the wine on some days..GREAT VALUE, GREAT SERVICE......DEF MY PLACE FOR NAILS.Go here people, screw the fancy $60 places...they suck!!! I've only gone to get my nails done at a salon/spa a couple times, but the last time I went was here and I was extremely disappointed. I got a fill and no chip polish. The whole time the guy was doing my nails he seemed extremely inconvenienced, was trash talking whoever did my nails before (except I was actually REALLY happy with how my nails were before that) and was making super negative comments about how I chose to have my nails shaped. By the time I left the place and got to my car the polish was already cracked. Not chipped off or anything, but there were little fractures in the polish. Needless to say they got worse over time. I'm not going to pay a ridiculous amount of money to get my nails done by a complete jerk who is only there for the money when I can go somewhere else and have someone who WANTS me to be happy with my nails. I took my girlfriend and I to get pedicures here.. I've been here a few times, and always had a decent experience.  Not this last time.  The technicians did not say a word to us the entire time. The pedicure itself was not great, it was two days ago and three toes have chipped.  When we were finished I went to the front to pay..  I paid with my card, and tipped twenty percent.  The woman collected my receipt, looked at it, and walked away.  We stood there awkwardly, almost thinking she was coming back because we didn't get a thank you, have a good day, NOTHING.  I felt extremely let down by both their quality of work and customer service.  I will not be back. Jennie gave me a manicure on Friday- it was my second visit to this new spa in Schererville, IN (right next to Lowe's), and I was speechless (a first) when I saw how beautifully, artfully, professionally she had shaped my short nails to make them appear longer and narrower, before applying a dark gray shade by Opi.  She chose the polish by telling me it was a better quality nail polish brand than the other grey that I had selected.  In all the years of getting manis in Indiana and Illinois (including top gold coast salons)- I have yet to find anyone as talented as this nail pro.  Go see Jennie- she is a perfectionist, cares about her work, and ultimately about your nails. Haven't had a pedicure in a long time. Read some reviews and decided to try H2O. Since my feet needed some work I opted for the Milk & Honey Pedicure ($45). My feet are super smooth. The paraffin wax and hot towel were fantastic as was the massage. Service was very friendly AND I received a 20% discount for their Grand Opening. I will definitely be back. Read Less

So I was recently treated to a manicure and pedicure here for my birthday, this past Easter weekend. I have never had a professional mani-pedi done before, so I am still a novice when it comes to going to nail salons, as I always just used to do my own nails, however, I do know a thing or two about quality when I see it. I personally had a great experience at H20. All of the staff members are really friendly, caring, and patient. Everything seemed to be in excellent condition and they had everything together just so, even for a grand opening. I really loved the massage chairs they had, and the scrub they used on my feet and legs. I felt very relaxed and pampered, as you should at the salon. And they did a fine job of the mani-pedi, as far as painting goes. It has been almost week and my nails are still going strong without much of any damage at all. And I must say I do not have the prettiest feet to work with, but they helped get some bad calluses off my feet that had been there for years lol. I have no complaints, it is a nice place to check out whether you live  in Valparaiso or are just stopping through. The ambiance was great. They had a nice selection of slow R&B and soft rock playing and you could tell they put a lot of thought into the decor as well. Overall, just a great experience and I would definitely go back if I am in the Valparaiso area again and need my nails done. Read Less
