The people are nice. But the amount of nail polish they use is terrible over 45 mins my nails still weren't dry, they tried to tell me they were, I showed them they weren't. DO NOT GET SERVICE BY A MAN!!! THEY SUCK! I just got a full set acrylic done here and the guy was extremely rude and impatient with me. Also, he screwed up my nails a few times. VERY SLOPPY! He put them on crooked, left polish all over the skin and when i tried to point it out he got hostile. Rushed me to pick a color. Online says open until 7:30 on Saturday and so does the front door went in on Saturday March 24th to get a nail repair since my shop is closed and they said they were closed. AWFUL EXPERIENCE AT THIS PLACE!!!! The owner Nancy was totally unprofessional and rude when she found that I was not getting my usual fill in and pedicure. Instead, I was only getting my no chips removed and a manicure on my natural nails. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a nail salon ever!! She was beyond rude and I finally got up and left. First red flag, walked in, 3 people working, someone came from the back to greet. Neither of the 3 that looked up acknowledged me when I entered. Ok give them the benefit they were working. Tell the guy who walked from the back what I wanted and he lead me to a chair. Ok great, service is quick. Well I sit down and the gentlemen seems confused as to what I wanted so he passed me on to a guy who I assumed knew what I wanted. Which was a fill and no chip. Well he said $45 because apparently he didn't know how to fill or just choose not to. He removed my entire overlay and started from scratch. Considering this hadn't been done in awhile I was ok with it but I wasn't given the option, second red flag. Overall nails turned out ok for the day.  I have been continuously digging overlay from under my nails.  Day 3 one chipped, not just polish, polish plus overlay so their product has to be cheap. My experience here was awful. the people were rude, the service was just as bad.  During my nails the lady that was doing them got up and left to paint someone else nail, and then came back 20 minutes LATER! It's been a week since I've been here, and i got no chip, it is chipping so badly and peeling. I get no chip often and have never had this problem until I went here. I had been going here for years and moved away and came back on a visit, this place used to be awesome.... Today was a huge disappointment.... I paid $70 for a deluxe pedicure with gel.... The tech was friendly but my nails look terrible.... They are not painted all the way to the ends or to the sides, I also have a burn on the bottom of my foot from the parafin. Lost customer! I am VERY disappointed with my experience here. I went in for a pedicure and no chip manicure. I actually chose this nail salon because there were multiple positive reviews on Yelp! The nail tech was very friendly and inviting however my nails look awful. I first noticed it when I walked out of the shop. My finger nails were not painted all the way to the end. Then I noticed one nail had a bump in it. Additionally, while cleaning my toenails, the tech scraped my big toenail extremely hard. I didn't think twice about it at the time but now my toe is sore so I was inspecting it and noticed that my toenails are not fully painted either!! Waited 15 minutes to get a chair and then had me soak for another 15 minutes.Meanwhile the three people who signed in after me all got taken back and with technicians. After soaking for 15 min I got up and left and explained politely that three people Who signed in after me were already being serviced. They apologize for the mistake. To preface this review, I came here a year or two ago and was pleased with my manicure. I remembered they were affordable and that I had enjoyed the experience previously, so I returned today since I was in the area (I usually am in Chicago).Conveniently located near a Target and several other stores in a mini strip mall.Came in at 4:30 on a Monday. The place was quiet and I was able to walk right in for a no-chip pedicure. The setting was nice and comfortable with a little cascading waterfall wall. There are 8 pedicure stations and 12 manicure stations. Unless they are really busy or short staffed, there probably isn't too long of a wait here normally.The girl who helped me pick out the no-chip colors was very helpful. She brought out a wide variety of colors in no-chip polish and recommended the brand that lasted the longest at my request. The massage chairs were big and comfortable and hit nicely on your back. You know how sometimes they don't line up with good spots on your back? These were good.The lady who actually did the pedicure was nice but quiet, which was fine because generally I like to zone out when I get pedicures, manicures, hair cuts...that sort of thing.She wore gloves and took all the tools out of a sterilized, sealed packet which impressed me.  She gave the option of using a razor and took the new blade from a fresh pouch. She was gentle and I wasn't scared of her as I am at some other places at times! It didn't even tickle horribly and didn't send me into a shrieking ball of laughter.  She also gave a very nice foot and leg massage with a very pleasant smelling salt scrub. We finished off with a hot towel rubdown. Another nail technician came up during the pedicure and started working next to me. She was very nice and acknowledged I was there, said hello, lots of smiles.After the "spa" part of it, I was transferred to the original girl who greeted me, and she finished up with the polish. She did the typical layers of basecoat, polish, and topcoat while alternating with the UV light. She was very nice and did a great job! We talked about the monthlong trip on which I was about to embark and she put an extra topcoat on to help make it last.The entire no-chip pedicure process took about 40 minutes and cost $45. My feet and toes felt and looked great!There is also a "Spa Nails Reward Program." I am not sure what it is, but I am assuming it is some sort of punch card system or something similar.I'm really not sure why this place doesn't have a higher rating, as I have had a positive experience both times I've been here. Came here for the first time today. Place is super clean and big! Friendly staff. Got a mani and pedi. Price is good. I had no problems with my mani or pedi. I have been going for years, but not sure I will ever go back.  I have gel nails.  They require a "sander" like tool in order to get a refill. Yesterday I went  and the technician ran it off my nails twice on two different fingers.  My fingers now have little bloody sores on two fingers at the nails.  She ran the sander on one spot too long on two other nails and hit a nerve under the nail.  That hurt like hell.  When I tried to explain what I wanted on my nails she acted like she couldn't understand.  When I said something to my friend who was with me, then all of a sudden her English improved and she understood.  The worst was when the sander nicked my Rolex watch and scratched the finish on the clasp.  First of all, that is pretty from from my nails so it indicates carelessness to me, but then she acted like it was inconvieniencing her when I stopped her to look at my watch. Consistently good mani/pedi's.  Friendly place and not rushed.  Great massage chairs.  May does a fabulous job; she is my favorite.  I did not have a great experience with gel nails, as the girl pushed my cuticles so far down they bled.  This left me with great nails, but scabs.  But that is the only problem I have ever had with this spa.  This is the best nail service I have found in the area.  They are quick to take care of you, friendly, and do very nice work. A group of four of us came here after work during the week. All four of us were able to be immediately taken care of for a pedicure (the salon across the street refused to see 4 of us at the same time). They had a large row of massaging chairs with the jet foot bath for pedicures. But what we were really surprised to see was that for each pedicure, they open a bag of sanitized pedicure tools. This place is very clean. The pedicure was pretty typical and included a lotion foot/leg massage. The salon is huge - the largest nail salon I have ever seen. It is very open and clean. There are two large flat-screen TV's on the wall opposite the pedicure chairs, so we were well entertained. Overall, this is a great nail salon to go to for good nail service in a very clean salon. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a spa feel, but this is more of a strip-mall nail salon. Read Less
