I have been a regular customer here for 4years. Every 11 days I am here, and those people are like family! I love their work and they always do an amazing job. I am so sad to say that I will NEVER give Sparkle Nail Salon in Portage my business, my money, or my time EVER again. I have been going there to get my nails done for MONTHS. I was a regular there, but after the way they treated us last night, I'm done.That was $110.00 down the drain. We could have chosen ANYWHERE in the area, but I told my mom and sister how great Sparkle was. They proved me 100% wrong. Getting your nails done is a luxury and it's expensive. For the amount of money I pay them, I expect them to have a little professionalism and some customer service skills. Guess that's too much to ask for. 😡 I really wanted to treat my mom and sister to a girls night. They do so much for me by keeping my son while I work. So I called and made an appointment yesterday at 2:00 pm for 6:00pm THAT evening. 4 HOURS in advance. I made it for 3 pedicures and 1 full set. The woman on the phone wrote down my name and said that was fine and she would see me later. We got there and it was a MISERABLE experience start to finish. EVERY single employee was rude to us from the get go. They closed for the night at 7:00pm and you could tell that they all just wanted to hurry up and get us out (although they kept taking walk ins of course). They completely rushed through my mom's pedicure and did a half ass job. She was totally finished and just sitting there waaay before my sister and, and her feet looked like crap. They didn't do much better on my sister's feet either. Apparently Sparkle just wants to charge you $40.00 for painting your toenails, because that's just about all they did. The pedicures were ALL terrible and it was not relaxing in the least. Then to top EVERYTHING off, I got done with my pedicure and went to go get my full set done and they told me NO. They literally said that, "They closed at 7 and they weren't going to honor my APPOINTMENT because they wanted to get home."..........Are you kidding me right now?! Why would you make my appointment for 6pm KNOWING what I needed, and then tell me that you don't have time once I'm there? I have never been so pissed off and so disappointed by a "business" before in my life. Needless to say I will NEVER be back. 😡 Read Less

I would've given them NO stars due to poor customer service!!! I was there at 9am and they didn't even open until 10am therefore I should've been first, but NO, they took two people who showed up 5 min before they opened just bc they knew someone from there which is BS! It's a business therefore if you want to do that to customers you just lost a good one! I will continue to go to Diamond Nail Salon in Valparaiso, IN! They are prompt and treat everyone the same and courteous no matter what! That is how a nail salon should be! I cancelled my appointment at Diamonds because I wanted to try something in my area and due to that I lost my spot which is how it is supposed to be. At Simon's they didn't even know what I wanted done so, bye to sparkle! I'll continue to get my nails done at a place where everyone is treated fairly!!! Read Less
